Featured on NBC's TODAY show, Fox News, CNN and in The Wall Street Journal, Modern Pinball NYC is the place for gamers to rack up points on a huge selection of pinball games from the 1970s to now. This all-you-can-play arcade won't have you fussing with quarters or tokens; you simply purchase a pass for one hour, three hours or a whole day of gaming and press the 'START' button to play. Play all of the games for as long as you want including classics such as Addams Family and The Simpsons, plus new stuff like The Avengers and SPIDER-MAN. There's no food or drink in the arcade, but your pass comes with in-and-out privileges so you can easily pop out for food or drink from a nearby restaurant or pub, then come back for more gaming (10% off next door neighbor Madhatter by showing Modern Pinball wristband). This social, high-energy gaming environment focuses on clean, non-violent fun that the whole family can enjoy. Even little ones can play since step stools are available.

My daughter recently celebrated her 8th birthday at Modern Pinball and it was without a doubt THE BEST PARTY anyone could possibly hope for! The place was SPECTACULAR, the atmosphere was not only immersive but, all the sights and sounds were complete and total sensory overload! Not to mention the demonstration that was given as to the workings of and... More

As my husband is a big pinball fan, this was not the first pinball museum we visited, but the first modern one. I didn't know that was a Game of Thrones pinball, from 2016, and others from 2014. It's definitely worth the visit, and I'd recommend at least 3h for playing, even if it's not so big. There are also... More

If you like pinball at all, this is the place for you! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the machines are well maintained. No quarters are needed. You pay by the hour (or half hour, if you don't have a lot of time). Try any machine you like. There are many choices. Enjoy!

My husband and I stopped here since we had a groupon for a 3 hour pass. It was smaller than I thought it would be but had a good selection of machines from old to newer. We only stayed about an hour but it is nice that they let you leave and come back without losing time

We went to Modern Pinball with the kids and had a blast. Not sure if we (parents) or the kids had more fun. We played against each other on most games and had a great time. Time flew by. Will definitely go again and tell all our friends. And I think they have parties and other events. Great NYC find

Fiancee and I stepped in on our last trip to NYC, looking for a place to hang out for awhile... Definitely were not disappointed :D $12 (I think?) for an hour of unlimited play - As others have said, all of the machines are set to "free play" and you can play with 1-4 players at a time. From golden... More

If you like pinball or have never tried - Modern Pinball is for you. $15 for an hour - some great machines including brand new ones and all free. Machines are well maintained, staff are on site to help and I wish it was across the pond and I could visit more regularly A great place to go if you're... More

Date of Visit: 25 Nov 16. There may be bigger somewhere, but I doubt there is better. It's a one-room, 30 (?) machine, just shut up and play pinball experience. It is family freindly, clean and yes, even in The City, it has a bathroom! I paid $12 for an hour of pinball, and was very pleased. From old-school "Grogor"... More

My wife and I stopped here because she's a big pinball fan and we had a blast. Although it is a smaller place than I imagined, the night we went there was never a time when we didn't have a pinball machine free. And when I say free -- all the games you want for an hour or three! From... More

Had a great afternoon here playing the different machines. All are well maintained and there's a variety of different genres. Nice activity if you're tired of malls and crowds in NYC.
