I would do this for one day to get a lay out of the land but for regular transportation not recommended.

I was nervous to learn the subway so I thought I will just use loop tours so as not to get lost. However it was so much better to use subway and just ask people where to go they... read more

It was a great way to explore the city! The guides were very good at telling interesting facts! We all enjoyed it very much, mum and dad (50) and son (17).

Excellent way of seeing NewYork although it does take a while. Make sure you have hats or sun cream. We broke the journey up and re joined the tour with an outstanding guide Allan France who made the journey entertaining and interesting.

I bought my ticket online and printed the voucher. I followed the instructions on the voucher that stated I had to exchange the voucher for the actual ticket. The line at the ticket counter was so long it took 45 minutes just to get my ticket. Upon geting on the bus in midtown, I asked the guide how long it... More

Enjoyable way to get around town, sometimes the waits seemed longer than website suggested. Unfortunate that you can't have an easy transition between the bus and the ferry (a service that takes you to the pier would be great). Guides ranged from good to excellent. Too bad the outlying loops (Brooklyn/Bronx) stop running so early - not much help when... More

Guides were varied, some better than others. Buses were mostly regular, though had quite a wait for one swapover (45 mins). This wasn't the norm though.

A fast way to see what Manhattan has to give. A Little to fast sometimes when the traffic was low and a Little to slow when the traffik was Heavy, but that's NewYork... Not all routes had a guide, so we had to rely on the no2 channel with prerecorded info but with a Little to much Jazz.

Had the worst experience ever. The company has very poor customer service, supervisors lack customer service and problem solving skills. I purchased tickets online, received an email stating click here to print your tickets paid at the hotel to have the tickets printed to be told at the bus by very rude supervisor, Abdul that I needed to go to... We did the Big Four tour package which gave us 48 hours to take in all of NYC's top attractions. It was a great experience and one we would definitely recommend to others. Very convenient way to explore the city. Only problem was we got tired and ran out of time before we could fit everything in. Tremendous value for... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
