Overall a very good and informative tour. Great way to see the sights of New York City before exploring those that interest you in more depth yourself. Ferry Tour was of particular interest as the guide was absolutely excellent. Only quibble - you can have...More

Evening was good. Except the Pennsylvania Hotel that was a nightmare, everything about the Hotel. All the hop on hop up routes were great, including the boat ride.

I really wouldn't recommend this pass. We tried to use it on certain attractions where you had to ring to get a time slot and it was an automated message telling you to email which they never responded too. The pass has to be changed...More

3 first timers going to Yankees/Red Sox game Friday & Saturday... Nothing else planned as of yet... Thinking of doing the Citysights NY 3 day tour that allows us to hop on/hop off throughout the city. Any recos for guided tours(food) or otherwise? Thanks!

We did the City Sights tour on our first trip. We thought it was great to see where everything was located and to get acclimated to the city. I would not use it as public transportation though. I would stay on, see everything, and then go back and visit what you would like to visit using the subway, a bus, or a taxi. Also.....there are a few different tours to choose from. You can choose one or all of them. We found the uptown and downtown tours most helpful. :o)

Which hop-on hop-off bus is better? (6 Replies)
We are heading to New York for 4.5 days in September and we were wondering which hop-on hop-off bus to use. I read that Grayline was better but my sister has read otherwise. Which on should we chose Grayline or Citysights NY?

grayline seems to have more frequent buses I would just do one loop and then use the subway
