I know its just a building but it felt so great to finally see in person what I've seen so many times on TV. Plus, it is located in a beautiful neighborhood even if you haven't seen the series you shouldn't miss it, the surroundings...More
The TV-series "Friends" has many fans all around the world. The building we often see in the episodes is found on 90 Bedford St in Greenwich Village. You can easily combine this with a walk on the High Line and around beautful Greenwich Village!
We made sure to stop here as all of our group are fans of the show. It is located in a beautiful part of Greenwich, and only slightly off of a main street. We were surprised with the amount of groups also getting photos of...More
As a fan of the show, I wanted to visit the apartment featured in the show however, we pretty much wasted a morning looking for it! Having said that, Greenwich Village is nice to wander around although there are plenty of other/better things to do...More

Plenty of other things to see instead.
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.

Greenwich Village is the most charming and historic part of the city. "The Friends Building " is a waste of time. Give yourself five minutes to look and leave. That corner is packed with tourists taking selfies. Really nothing to see. Show was never filmed here...just the two-secknd opening shot. Everything else was studio back lot sets in Los Angeles.
