We went with three adults, two teenagers, and a 9 year old. All of us laughed aloud at the cast's antics. It was a wonderful blend of creative music and comedy without any spoken words. The theatre is smaller and more intimate which allowed the cast members to entice audience participation. Each member was extremely talented, leaving Everyone with a... More

This show was amazing, entertaining and funny. The theater is quite small and the seating in the balcony area is really tight for tall people. I have to say I was truly amazed by the talent in this show and will go see it again. It is a little loud and fun for all ages. It was a feel good... More

Just saw Stomp. The show was great. It is fun for all ages. The actors get the audience involved. First hour not so loud but it does get pretty loud later on. Theater is very small and you shouldn't sit in the last seat in each row. The speaker can block your view a little. Theater is old so don't... More

I had an ideia of what to expect but, let me confess, I was feeling tired and I was not in the mood but... WHAT A FANTASTIC and clipping show it is! The actors are much more than 'just' skilled performers. Their capacity of interacting together and with the audience with sounds but not vocal sounds is above skills limits.... More

Always a great performance, the new Stomp is a riot! I went with my two percussionist sons and they spent the night tapping away with the on stage performers. A good time was had by all.

Was looking for a different kind of show that might be fun for entire family including 18 and 21 year old. We all enjoyed the show. Incredible what they can do with just instruments and body language. It's a very small theater so any seat on the main floor would work. I don't recommend the 1st floor of the balcony... More

I know it's been around forever, but there's a reason Stomp! is still so popular--it's great! The performers showcase their amazing musical talent while carrying a funny storyline throughout the acts. The end includes an interactive part that I thought was not only fun but also made the show so much more personal. I would definitely recommend this show to... More

Is really impressive how they coordinate sounds and use different types of materials to make the sounds.

I've seen the Stomp DVD years ago and was happy to have the opportunity to see them live in New York, and it was magical! We have a 6-year old girl, and I was worried she could get bored or complain about the noise, but everything was beyond great: she was INSPIRED! After the show we got her Stomp drumsticks... More

So much fun. Captivated the entire show. It's amazing the beautiful sounds that come from everyday items. Such a talented cast.

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
