energizing, exciting, interesting, keeps your attention

Very interesting how 6-8 members of the cast can use common items (trash cans, plastic tubes, brooms, etc) to make music that is fun and exciting. Great for kids and older people.

It's an incredible performance. If you are into percussion then this is a must see. It also has some very funny moments. It would be a good show to take a teenager.

This is a show where the cast uses brooms, pans, matchboxes, newspapers and multiple everyday objects to create percussion. There is no storytelling, the cast shows on stage with the different objects and creates rhythmic sounds (not music) with the objects. The sounds tend to be very repetitive, thus I gave it 3 stars. The lack of story also makes... More

I've wanted to go see STOMP since I was a little kid. And the 22 year wait did not disappoint. The best, comedy and overall atmosphere made it a memorable show I recommend everyone go and see.

This is the second time we've seen Stomp and this was better than I remember. The Orpheum is a small, very personal venue. The show was over the top fun. The cast is so great and with the whole audience being pulled into the experience. Great for families. It's loud and a blast.

This is an amazing show! I was blown away at the dancing and music but also how they made everyday objects into instruments. Highly recommend as a show to see. Had 2nd row seats and they were worth the extra money.

For years as a dancer I have also wanted to see Stomp! at Broadway as I feel it is the ultimate NYC show! I was so ecstatic with the performance it really really didn't disappoint! The choreography, set and dancers are still amazing even after all of these years. As British theatre goers we are extremely used to grand luxurious... More

A great show that was entertaining from the moment is started. It did get very loud near the end. So, if you have anyone with noise sensitivities, bring some earplugs.

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
