In Depth Experience of 9-11; well worth visiting if passing through NYC.

Well depicted events with great audio tours and history presentations/viewings.

Can easily spend 2 to 3 hours in the 9-11 Museum.

The memorial is an incredible tribute to the 911 attack. It has captured the soul and essence of all that perished on that such tragic day.
A lot of planning and design went in to preserve this beautiful sight. There are many kiosks around with individuals that have explanation to any questions you may have

My husband is a fire fighter in Ireland so it was particularly important to visit this. Actually reading the names of the people who died as a result of the 9/11 attack is very sobering.

This memorial isn't even close to the 9/11 memorial across the street in size, but it's still worth going there. The memorial is attached in the wall and looks like bronze. The names of the firefighters who died and pictures are inscribed.

There is also a man that hangs around the memorial and gladly share stories and show pictures from the towers. You can ask him anything about the memorial and what happened that day from his point of view.

We stopped at the 911 Memorial and Museum so we decided to stop since we were so close. This memorial wall is made of bronze and depicts the event of 911 plus lists out each fire fighter that was lost.

I recommend going as it is free, easy to get to and takes a short time to see it.

Take a few moments from the 9/11 memorial to step across the road to see this beautiful bronze remembrance wall. In honour of all the fireman who lost their lives on 9/11. We were the only ones there, which although lovely, makes me think that not enough people are aware of this. A truly moving memorial, left me lost for words, beautifully done.

Everyone should take a moment to see this memorial.

It is truly moving. Before they sealed this memorial, family members got to write messages on the wall, which is very nice.

This memorial is located a bit away from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and dedicated to 343 members of NYC Fire Department, who died fighting with fire and rescuing people during 9/11 terrorists attacks. Among firefighters was Peter J. Ganci, Jr., who was FDNY Chief.

Truly moving memorial makes no one to forget true heroes of that day, and we aren't an exception.

The only thing that disappointed us was some homeless-looking guy, who was "in charge" of the spot. He was telling pointless stories and cleaning the wall with his dirty towel as if he was appointed to do so and as if he had any relation to it. At the end of the day, he just found a very convenient location for his own profit.

In any case, this place is not to be missed!

Just behind the 9/11 memorial is the FDNY Memorial.

A small but moving memorial to all of the fireman who died in 9/11 memorial and in the line of duty. Although its nowhere near as big as the official 9/11 memorial, its still just as moving as you think of the men and women who bravely sacrificed their lives to save others.

If you make it to the 9/11 memorial, be sure to walk the extra block to pay your respects here as well.

This is a great mural, but they don't keep it lit all night every night. Something I discovered when I went to take a picture.
