Great tribute
Dec 2019
The memorial is an incredible tribute to the 911 attack. It has captured the soul and essence of all that perished on that such tragic day.
A lot of planning and design went in to preserve this beautiful sight. There are many kiosks around with individuals that have explanation to any questions you may have

A beautiful and poignant firefighter tribute
Nov 2019
Located across Greenwich Street from Liberty Park to the south of the 9/11 Memorial Garden, is the fire-station for Engine 10 and Ladder 10, with its 56-foot long bronze Memorial Frieze, depicting the Twin Towers in flames with firefighters executing their duties. It is dedicated to all the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. Engine 10 and Ladder 10 companies were among the first to respond to the attack and, by the end of the day, they had lost 10 men. The fire-station was so badly damaged that it had to be rebuilt. Worth a quick detour if you are in the vicinity of the WTC.

A Wonderful Tribute
Sep 2019
This memorial is not far from Ground Zero but is missed by many because it is a little out of the way. But it is definitely worth seeking out.'The brass plaques tell the story of the brave first responders who died on 9/11.These reliefs are beautiful, tasteful and will bring you nearly to tears. As we were concluding our short visit, a ladder truck fro NYFD came by. I got chills.

The memorial wall isn't far from the 9/11 museum. It's worth visiting and looking at the images engraved in the wall. I'm glad that a memorial was dedicated for those firefighters that gave their lives. Definitely go and remember that day.

Beautiful tribute to the fallen heroes
May 2019 • Couples
Set off to the side of the main plaza, this beautiful bronze memorial is a fitting tribute to those firefighters who sadly lost their lives on that very unfortunate day. Spend time just looking at it and remembering those who were just doing their job to help save others.

Beautiful Tribute
May 2019 • Couples
Just a short walk from the 9/11 Memorial plaza and toward O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub, you'll find the FDNY Memorial Wall. This is a wonderful and beautiful tribute to the 343 members of the NYC Fire Department lost on 9/11/01. It makes you stop and think of their bravery and their selfless sacrifice that they gave on that terrible, fateful day. People visiting this memorial on the day we visited were respectful and quiet in reflection.

A Beautiful Memorial Near WTC
Mar 2019 • Family
We stopped here after spending the morning at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It's just across the street from the Memorial Plaza at Greenwich and Liberty. It's a beautiful memorial on the side of the fire station. You can't help but think of those brave firefighters and their sacrifice. You can't help but turn around and imagine what those firefighters saw. Highly recommended.

A tribute to the brave who paid the ultimate price
Mar 2019 • Couples
A tribute to the brave who paid the ultimate price. Putting others before themselves the firefighters hurried up stairways, in full gear, passing those evacuating the towers heading down.
So many lost lives, families shattered forever. A place to reflect, and to admire so many people who served their country and their city and who are to be remembered.
