We compromised on Aladdin because it was my partners favourite childhood Disney and it was not a compromise at all. It was one of the best productions I've ever seen. The costume design, acting, choreography, set design and production were 1st class. I genuinely still...More

We were supposed to see a show on Broadway that got canceled shortly before curtain. We ran to the theater and we were able to secure individual seats as the curtain went up. We loved the genie and it is a happy show.

Very good show but could have been shorter. The Genie was fantastic and the facial expressions of the parot were priceless. The theatre is very nice indeed.

We took our 3 children, ages 7-12, to NYC for the first time. This was their first full length show and it was enjoyed by all!!! I was in awe of the production. Gorgeous costumes, great humor, fantastic songs. I love most things Disney though...More

Aladdin was a great show! The Amsterdam theatre is truly spectacular and usually the Mezzanine provides great views of the show, but I was seated behind a man with a very large head so I spent the evening with a neck sore trying to watch...More

Aladdin was even better than expected. The theatre is extremely ornately decorated. The show was very lively and entertaining. The genie was hilarious, and the dancers were all so talented in their roles. They quickly changed costumes and appeared in multiple roles doing all different...More

Words can't describe how amazing the play, setting and stage are! Some comments though is that the music is a bit off sometimes but they still did a great job. Many parts have nice humour for the adults too. ____ My only comment is where...More

Straight from the show site. I searched for three months for tickets and found that prices were pretty much same. If you are seeing a top show tickets will be expensive. I googled “best seats “ in particular theatres so... More

Planet Hollywood vs. MGM (19 Replies)
I currently have reservations but I was just checking out some other prices and saw PH is only a difference of 60 for the entire trip. How's the pool at PH in comparison to MGM...Obviously the location at PH is better and we will be heading there anyways for the Britney Spears concert and I've never stayed at PH before....Used to eat at the buffet when it was Aladdin but it's been 12 years since we've been to Vegas.

MGM pool is ten times better than PH . PH pool is pretty poor in my opinion.

Just replied in your other post - of you can upgrade to a resort room they are fabulous, bathrooms large enough to park a car in. Ours had a view of Paris and the Bellagio fountains. From what I understand, the rooms aren't being renovated other than putting a little hollywood memorabilia in them. Can't offer suggestions on specific rooms though.

Broadway show. (20 Replies)
We have seen a few of the shows on Broadway in Australia. Beautiful, Lion King, Aladdin, Kinky Boots (we loved). Can anyone recommend a show for a 76 year old ‘hipp’ lady and my 46;year old daughter. We will be in NYC late September early October. My husband and I saw Mama Mia on Broadway last time we were there, loved it. Would love some recommendations.

I would look into Come From Away or Waitress.
