I walked in and sat at the bar I said hello to the woman standing out front... More

Reasonably priced food in the financial distric5s just steps off the ferry. We were hungry. We got in right away and served right away. Food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed it all. Nothing fancy, but hits the spot.

Our waitress was delightful and responsive. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. (The soft pretzels especially.). Well worth a visit, particularly if... More

Murphy's Tavern is next door to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York City - Financial District, our hotel for a recent weekend in Manhattan. It was perfect for a quick burger, bowl of French onion soup and a IPA between our Revolutionary War Tour (Patriot Tours; excellent!) and our reservation for the One World Observatory. Service was friendly and... More

Good food - huge portions - great banter and lots of different ales to try. Doesn't feel like you are in New York! Really enjoyed our visit here.

What a lovely little bar. The food was amazing and the manager very friendly. He even let us bring macdonalds food in for the kids!
