Tremendous music at a reasonable price, although the location lacks "atmosphere" - just a room on the 5th floor of a commercial building. Right over the road from the Broadway Plaza Hotel, where we were staying. No food, wine and water sold at the cash...More

If you aren't looking for the jazz museum (and there are plenty of places to find that, including some famous clubs like the Blue Note--not always, but often enough, Smalls/Mezzrow (also not always, but often--Dizzy's Coca Cola at Lincoln Center and others), then the Jazz...More

Serious Music for Serious People: yet it's also a lot of fun. Excellent brass concert (Alan Ferber's Band), was loud, but still musical in this cozy spot.

A place for the serious jazz fan. No bar only music. Go there for a concert and go for a beer afterwards. Check what's on in Time Out New York.
