Old and Nice
Jan 2020
It was a Saturday evening and it was quite cold outside. The Church was warm inside, in temperature, ambiance, service and decor. It is a nice Church. Quite close to the Grand Central and the Chrysler building.

Wedding
Nov 2019
The staff at St Agnes was most cooperative with helping schedule and arrange my son and daughter in laws wedding. The church itself is a beauty to behold. It is smaller but certainly more intimate than the large churches. The resident organist and soloist we had were equally outstanding. Would recommend St Agnes to all.

Beautiful

Fabulous church in midtown. Great if you prefer a more conservative, traditional mass. Has one of the earlier Saturday evening masses. Really loved the mass.

Review about the attendants
May 2019 • Solo
I was walking by this church and it was my first time seeing it. I decided to go inside. Mas was about to start around 5:10 pm so I stayed. The mas was great, the church was nice and comfortable, what really got to me was the people attending.
This was all white people and I was shocked as I am sure their parents did not raise them this way, this is not a racial statement of any kind but only white people were the offenders from what I observed.
The lady in her 60's dressed to the T but sunglasses in the church?
The guy with the Maine t shirt, shorts and flip flops?
The other ladies sleeveless tops?
The 2 men with their sons from a Yankees baseball game, shorts really?
My list can go on and on, please stop doing this and have some respect this is a place of worship and the house of the Lord.
I hope the church can be strict about these dress codes and rules.

High Mass Experience
Jan 2019 • Friends
We went to Mass here several times but the High Mass celebration on New Year’s Day was so solemn. One is transported into the holy.

It is a Church that serves well the people working in the area with several services. I also like the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on first Fridays.

Where Archbishop Sheen Delivered the Good Friday Homily
Feb 2018 • Solo
The church's proximity to Grand Central Station makes it a convenient visit for commuters and other travelers. In his later years, Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen was the main celebrant of the Good Friday service there in 1978 and 1979 (he passed away in December 1979); the length of 43rd Street where the church is located was renamed Fulton J. Sheen Place in 1980 by then-Mayor Koch. I stopped in today during Mass and remained for the Miraculous Medal Novena... always calming and reassuring to spend some time in St. Agnes Church.

Many Masses near Grand Central
Jan 2017 • Solo
What impressed me most about this Church is the weekday Mass schedule.

They do have many masses during the day, making it easier for the New Yorkers to pop in to pray during the work days.

Right there on the 43rd street (UN street), I passed unknowingly by it on the way to the UN but the size and design of the door handles caught my attention.

I came back to visit the church in a later date, only to find that those door handles belonged to the church doors.

Though small, it is beautifully decorated and is obviously an old church that is worth visiting.

Fantastic church
Nov 2015 • Solo
This Church is truly a beautiful parish, right across from Grand Central station. Its open to all. Its Sunday Mass features a tridentine Latin mass and an I have attended the English Mass here at 12:30. The church has been the victim of vandalism with the statue of St Agnes desecrated, but the parish has been praying for a change of heart of the people. Various bishops and archbishops celebrate mass here and they have a truly wonderful choir. The priests are funny and always around to meet for guidance.

Small church near Grand Central Station
May 2015 • Solo
This is a small but attractive church located close to Grand Central Station. The exterior is fairly plain but I rather liked the interior. Worth a quick look if you happen to be in the area.
