A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour covers pizza, and Brooklyn, from one end to the other. Best of all, the bus leaves from Manhattan! There’s award-winning Sicilian style pizza at Grimaldi’s under the Brooklyn Bridge and legendary Sicilian style pizza at L&B Spumoni Gardens in Bensonhurst. The tour includes pizza, soft drinks and an audio-visual presentation of Brooklyn’s unique neighborhoods, parks and famous movie locations like Saturday Night Fever, Scent of a Woman and more.

Call me skeptical, but I thought 4 slices of pizza during 4 hours of touring would leave me wanting more, but the only thing i wanted more of was the bus ride. First of all, 4 slices might not seem like much, but the slices at L&B Spumoni are like double-slices, and you NEED to save room for the spumoni!... More

Highly recommend! Not just because you go to two famous pizza places (special skip-the-line at Grimaldi's), but you hear a lot about the history of New York. I had lived in Brooklyn in the 1970s but did not know some of the history that our very informative and entertaining guide told us. Michelle was an excellent guide, witty and humorous.... More

Marc was our tour guide and to sum him up in one word would be "FANTASTIC" His passion for his city Brooklyn and pizza was infectious. He had the crowd laughing and excited as soon as they stepped on the bus. We stopped twice for pizza and got 2 slices of pizza each, each stop plus soft drinks included. Both... More

A slice of pizza tour is a must do when visiting NY. Even my 72yo mum loved it. Our guide Michelle was very informative and entertaining. Loved the movie locations and the movie snipits to put the locations into context. Our stop at Coney Island was a highlight too. Oh and the pizza is incredible.

My aunt and I took this tour today and had the best time! Our guide, Paula, was fantastic. Paula was so knowledgeable, funny & genuine! We had gone with a local tour Bus Company. Passengers were all of different ages, and each one of us had a wonderful time. Each of the places we stopped for pizza was different and... More

I have been on many tours in my life, and the Brooklyn Pizza tour was definitely one of the best I've ever been on. Marc was our guide, and he was so full of knowledge. I really felt like he gave us the insiders view into Brooklyn. He was also very funny, which made the day even more enjoyable. We... More

The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour was so much fun. Our guide Michelle was absolutely great. She was a great story teller and guide through the streets of Brooklyn. If you are planning on visiting New York I highly recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Two very different types of pizza, a local's knowledge of neighborhoods, a chance to walk around the Coney Island amusement park / beach (made me think of my friends barbershop quartet singing "goodbye, my Coney Island baby"), clips of movies shot in Brooklyn, "the bridge" .... I could go on. The tour guide, Marc, was fantastic. Do this!

The Slice of Brooklyn Tour was excellent . Our tour guide Mark was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his home "borough", Brooklyn. The two styles of pizza were delicious, but was more, were the movie cuts from actual movies filmed in Brooklyn and insider information about the renewed popularity of Brooklyn. What an enjoyable day. Actually, the following day, we... More

Recently went on this tour whilst in NYC and enjoyed every moment! It's a great way to see Brooklyn and a different side the New York. Our guide Marc was very knowledgable and entertaining. The tour highlight was Coney Island, great to see the famous 'old school' theme parks, board walks and crazy cats that hang out around there. The... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
