Do not take any photos until you are on the roof. No glass, nothing to protect you from the outside and your pictures will be much more realistic.

This is a great choice for getting a great 60 view around New York. It puts everything in perspective as to where everything is. I know the Empire State Building is also a great viewing platform - but the really good thing about Top of...More

It's not a cheap thing to do but fur the view it's definitely worth it. Be sure to go all the way up to the top for the best unobstructed views.

Incredible views and so much more. This is one attraction to not miss on your next visit to NYC. It does take some time to go through the lines to get to the observation deck, however, once you are there, you can spend as much...More

We were always unsure what the best building to go up was when in NYC. The Rockefeller sunset visit was a fantastic experience both watching the sunset and the lights of the city at night take over. A memorable experience.

Bought the city pass and came here for first night of a week in New York. Fabulous views across the city, pity it was too cloudy for one of the red sunsets but we did see the full moon.

We decided to do 'top of the rock' at night and the 'freedom tower' in the day - great decision. Rockefeller is a great area at night anyway, and visiting the top at night gives superb views and fantastic photo opportunities.

We did this after the Empire State Building observatory. You don’t need to do both. If you do one the other is the same. I wasn’t impressed with the outside staff who checked your entry time they were not very pleasant and didn’t make us...More

The standard ticket (military discount) includes a trip to the top without a time limit. Some of the special offer rates like VIP let you schedule your trip time so you can avoid lines. Hope this helps!
