We had the beef stew and a Dubliner burger with a couple of Pale Ales. The beer was great and I found the service good. Many TVs all around so it’s a good spot to keep up with the games

Cold French fries, dry burger in a hot dog bun... salad is a bunch of dry spinach dumped on a plate.

This place is very good to take some food and drink a good beer. The steak sandwich was delicious. Close to Broadway musical theaters is an excellent option before or after watching one of them.

We were a large group and had reservations for lunch. When we arrived they had no record of the reservation. They were able to accommodate us but it was a little upsetting to have that mix up. We ate upstairs and the food has to come from downstairs so the waitstaff really works to get food to the table. The food was ordinary, but the atmosphere and staff more than make up for that. It’s a great spot for lunch before a play and very conveniently located in midtown’s theatre district.

We bought drinks downstairs and went upstairs as there were no seats left downstairs. Upon sitting down barmaid with the pink glasses screamed over if we had settled up downstairs, no hello how are you etc....ignored us completely once we had finished our drinks so ended up leaving. Clearly doesn't understand the concept of good service.

Wait staff could be a little more attentive but bacon mac n cheese is great! Roast beef was tough but waitress did the right thing.

Just no excuse! Great little bar, directly across from the Gershwin, great ambiance for drinking beer and having a great time with friends! Just zero excuse for the quality of food! The Caesar was a chopped up mess of wilted aged lettuce with virtually no dressing. My companion left it.... She was hungry and she left it! I eat it because I was hungry and didn't want to see Wicked with hunger pangs. French onion soup; tasteless cheese in brown water. Don't blame the server, she was great. Next time, I'll eat street meat from the vendor across from he theater! We're not snobs... But We travel a great deal and want to give our fellow travelers the benefit of an honest review. You have it!

While staying in New York I was searching for a place that was showing wrestling pay per views and Mchales was what I found and what a find it was.

Absolute gem of a place. The atmosphere in there that whole night is unmatched. Easily the best night out we had while we were in NYC.

Ended up spending about 5-6 hours in the place, so easily done!

Plenty TVs, a projector and a sound system that compliments IT exceptionally. Cheap drinks - bottle of rose wine for $38 dollars which they keep on ice for you!!! FANTASTIC service!
