a wonderful selection of everything deli. Best is hand cut smoked fish-Ariel was a superb customer service agent ! there are cheeses, sausages, candy ,sauces, olive oils etc galore. Only poorer part is the breads , bagel and bialys a bit leaden and not classically made. Worth a trip just to see what is there. Not cheap but worth every... More

My wife and I have been to Zabar's twice, once in July, 2015, during which we tasted their whole range of smoked salmon, and again this month, July, 2016. We actually walked to Eli Zabar's on Madison thinking it might have the same product as the Broadway Zabar's. As we discovered, the Madison Avenue Zabar's is owned by the brother... More

In town visiting friends and stopped by Zabar's cafe for breakfast. Six years ago before we moved from Manhattan, it was one of our favorite places to get a coffee and croissant. I am sad to report the quality of the coffee has gone downhill. My cappuccino was made way too hot, scalding the beans and bringing out an ashy... More

Good place for locals and visitors alike. Not much seating, but we found a spot on the long communal table. Raspberry scones are delicious!

Best deli and groceries in the neighborhood. For breakfast or a matzo ball soup! Smoked salmon is the best with dia houses's Bread.

This place was a great find. We were just walking along broadway and wow - this old gem was a place you can't walk by. We had great cheeses, breads, fresh juice, I want one in my street.

It doesn't get any better than this Upper West Side institution. A top floor full of the best selection of housewares, and a ground floor of gourmet food and THE BEST "lox" and cold cuts. Not cheap, but absolutely worth every cent. Cheeses, meats, fish, chocolate....yum yum yum

Really nice place, American style, fresh muffins ( try lemon muffin) , good sandwiches, good coffee ( don't burn your mouth, really hot). Its usually crowded but people come and go fast so it's no problem to find a place to sit. I recomend.

Thank Tanja P
