Kiehl's is a well known East Village make up store. We have been going here for decades and live a few blocks away. Its products are highly rated. It has several stores the throughout the NYC area. Eye concealers, foundations, and sunscreens are some of our favs. BTW, the East Village store is the original.

I headed here on advice of Lonely Planet guidebook while my husband stopped by the bookshop. I absolutely loved it. Great selection with great names like - "Ultra rich mosturizer not greasy." The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile by giving me the catalogue and telling me to ring or go online to order more products. Since I don't live in the US, I asked for many samples of other products to try and I got them all and was offered more! Definite stop for anyone, men and women, who wants a unique and great shopping experience.

I have been using their superior skin and hair care products for a very long time, they are so excellent pure and natural that I often buy products for other members of my family who always find them to be excellent also. The real reason I always stop into the flagship store when I am in the area is because of the highest quality of customer service. I am always greeted with a handshake and a smile. I can just walk around and sample or ask questions, the answers are always professional and knowledgable and no one ever tries to push me into buying a product. When I do buy something that was recommended the results are ALWAYS as promised. I was inthe store on June 18th and had the pleasure of dealing with Eli, what a gentleman, very helpful, after I was done with my purchases and told him about my upcoming trip to Florida, he gave me a bunch of samples to take with me that would work in the hot humid weather. After I told him about a family member who would be bedridden for a few days, he gave me samples of great body cream that she could use to prevent dryness. The store itself is wonderufl for just browing and looking at the pictures and articles on the walls detailing the history of Kiehl's. This is a great spot to stop and have a fun experience whether you want some fantastic skin/hair care or just to spend a little while brosing.

Placed an order online at Kiehl's Canada On-line. After the order had been placed I noticed the order was being shipped to my old address (I moved and even though I had updated my address in their system it saved my previous address as the shipping address). Called Kiehl's to explain what happened and was told NOTHING could be done. The address could not be changed and the order could not be canceled even though it was placed less than 5 mins ago. I was stunned. Asked to escalate the matter to someone and was told it wouldn't matter as there is nothing a supervisor could do. Then told if the order isn't received back from the old address I am out the money and it's not their issue. I am a Kiehl's Black Diamond member however that will be my last order ever with that company.

I placed an online order and wanted to add on additional item wit out having to incur additional shipping. I was told that it was impossible. Why not? This is not very customer friendly. My suggestion, instead of telling a customer that it's impossible, look for ways to make it happen. That's how you obtain loyalty and repeat customers. What I requested should not have been an impossible task. Get it together, Kiehl's!

Being an avid user of Kiehl's skincare products for nearly ten years, I had to take the opportunity to visit the Company's flagship store in East Village on my recent trip to New York City. I also wanted to meet Ben Cohen, who was making an appearance at the store to promote his partnership with Kiehl's and his "Stand Up Foundation".
This store has everything; very well stocked and large compared to most of their other outlets and store concessions. The staff here are very knowledgeable and are on hand to give advice or just leave you to browse if you wish. My only disappointment was the lack of samples, which Kiehl's used to give out generously. However, I loved the experience of shopping in this store & meeting one of my icons at the same time.

although this is the flagship store for Kiehl's in Manhattan, the store itself and the employees are far from flagship service. The older part of the store is neglected, looking more like a warehouse or basement. The employees didn't show any interest in me until they saw how much I was going to buy, only then did one of them minded to ask me if I was getting all I needed. Love the brand, but the service ant Hudson Yards or Hell's Kitchen locations is way better.

This is the Kiehl's flagship location. The space has undergone renovation to look more retail/ customer friendly and less warehouse like. Staff wearing white lab coats welcome guests walking in the door. They listen carefully to customer request before making suggestions about products. I particularly like Kiehl's Creme de Corps body lotion, ultra facial moisturizer, and graefruit scented shower gel.
This Kiehls location is between 13th and 14th streets on the 3rd Avenue and is close to the subway.

No matter who you need to buy a gift for- chances are, they have skin! Not only is Kiehl's a great line- but the staff at this location are knowledgable and great at making suggestions for your skin types or those on your list! Least stressful place to buy a gift- or paper yourself! The gift wrappers here above and beyond what you wis expect.
