took the subway and decided to walk to see where NYU was. This was a lovely place-- Washingtown square with a beautiful fountain, lots of activity and for the time of year we were there weather was perfect and the trees were blooming. seems like a great place to pull up a park bench and read or just people watch. Be sure you take the time to visit this place.

Most of the grass areas were being reconditioned, but people also ignored the signs and used the grass areas anyway. Unique group of people were at this park the day we visited – so if you are into people watching this is the place to be. There was a nice rest room at one end of the park. The arch was beautiful and it was nice to see it in person after seeing it in some many TV shows and movies.

You will pay between $250 - $350 for a pair of these shoes which are made in France (even more for boots). However, what you are paying for is extremely well made and comfortable shoes. You also get style with your comfort with Arche. Some of the pumps and wedges are stylish enough for me to wear to my office and I have also walked for miles around London in them comfortably. Their boots are amazing. You can walk all day in them without getting tired feet. You get what you pay for with Arche. I've been to this shop not far from Central Park when they had a sale on and got a pair for under $200, which is a bargain for Arche. They also have locations at 995 Madison Ave; 3rd Avenue and Astor Place.

If you want comfortable shoes and don't mind paying more for it then Arche is the place to go. I've been wearing their shoes for years and while they are expensive, they never seem to wear out.
