Love to get my ABC fix when in NYC. While we did buy a couple of rugs, the fun is strolling through the first floor and getting all that inspiration. So global. So tempting. Don't miss the furniture floors either. You'll be reimagine your own stuff or find that perfect magical piece. Love ABC.

I was so excited to visit ABC Carpet & Home - I had never managed to make it there on any previous trips to NYC so when we moved to Manhattan it was on my list of places to explore! Especially the baby/kids department which is always featured on blogs etc for cool products. Imagine my fury when, after walking... More

This store is like a 4 floor museum with all sorts of wonderful wares for sale and even a meditation room in the store. We've been here two times and each time there are new and unique things. Some of the art pieces for sale are like museum--modern-- art. Fun to stroll the floors and very high quality home goods.

My trip to NY was all business, but I did sneak 30 minutes away just to stroll through the store. It's always a pleasure and surprise!

Lots and lots of stuff. So much more than carpet! Extremely busy for sure. It's a nice store with so much to see.

I stumbled upon this Aladdin's Cave of a store just off Union Sq, and so glad I did! Although most of the furniture and furnishings are well beyond my budget, it is such a treat to walk such a beautifully styled store. The visual merchandising here creates a wonderfully indulgent journey in an incredible environment where it's an absolute pleasure... More

This is a great place to shop and browse. It's basically 6-7 floors of different home furnishing and decor type stuff. We easily spent over an hour here and could've spent more, but we had somewhere to be. Definitely a great find.

I drop i to this store whenever I am in town. It encaspulates downtown glamour, style and panache. The curators deserve medals. So well done. Just go.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
