Whether you are into Hip Hop or not, this is a great tour! The guides are enthusiastic, postive and very inclusive. The structure of the tour really helps bring the participants together. You see parts of New York and learn history that you won't get on any other tour. We went through Spanish Harlem, we went to the Apollo Theatre... More

This past week I had the pleasure of going on my third Hush Hip Hop Tour. I was on the "Birthplace of Hip Hop Tour" twice and, most recently, the "Where Brooklyn At?" Tour. If you have even a mild interest in music or New York history, you will enjoy this tour. If you are an avid fan of hip... More

Just finished this tour earlier today and it was very informative and fun. Great to hear and see where hip hop originated from and how it has become what it is today. The tour was family friendly and very interactive and Reggie Reg and upcoming star RayZa made it so entertaining. Would be back to do the other tours soon.

This tour is really well done! Some of hip hop songs of my youth became concrete! I can see the bridges the bridges and Spanish Harlem! Thank you so much to Grand master Caz for his kindness. We were not many in the group, so we have shared a lot with him. I love this man, he is very approachable... More

We took my nephew to New York for the first time as a high school graduation present. He's a huge hip hop fan. The tour guides (Reggie Reg of Crash Crew and Razor) were great. Informative and entertaining. Loved every minute.

As an LA native, I was excited to visit NYC for the first time and to visit some great pilgrimages. I went on the Birthplace of Hip-Hop tour of Harlem and the Bronx. Grandmaster Caz was our tour guide, and I found it very fun. Most of the participants were foreign tourists (some French, Australian, German, etc.) and the tour... More

This was my 18 year old son's first trip to New York. We went just so he could go on this tour. He has been a hip hop fan since he was 13 or so. He had a great time. The tour operators, including Reggie Reg, really made it enjoyable and educational. They took us to a lot of really... More

We had so much fun with hush tours, which takes you back to the beginnings of HipHop. Also, we were rapping, singing and dancing. The good thing about this: what happens in the bus, stays in the bus ;) Totally recommendable if you look for a different sightseeing program in NYC !

Anja T, Thank you for the kind words and review! So glad you and the group had a ton of fun and got involved in the whole experience. And yes, what happens on the bus stays on the bus, except for any really, really good raps! More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
