Grand Master Caz is the real deal, extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. It's a rad tour, well worth the price of admission. Bring some extra cash as merchandise may be available for purchase.

As a Bboy I already knew certain things about Hip Hop. But the tour definitely offered me a lot of interesting information that I didn't know and it was super cool to see places like Sedgewick Avenue in reality!! I would strongly recommend this tour for all the Hip-Hop-Heads

Kaz was awesome! Went with my 14 year old son and he had a hoot. Really good experience, lots of great information and fun details about hip hop culture and evolution, and we got to see a part of New York we might not have otherwise visited. Highly recommended.

To cut a long story short, we were supposed to get a refund from this tour operator as confirmed in an email from the CEO Debra Harris on 21st December 2015 but it's now been 7 months and still no refund.

It’s unfortunate you misunderstood the offer. As your requested tour date was during the off peak season (January) the email indicated if enough sales were generated, we would offer your group complimentary tickets. Once you purchased tickets along with the other customers we were able to go forward with the tour as the minimum had been met. The email you’re... More

We did not enjoy this tour. It seemed all about money. They tried to sell stuff the whole time. The break dancer they had was not very good. It focused on where all the hip hop musicians died. The sound system on the bus was awful and they turned it up loud so it sounded bad. Even worse the bus... More

We took the Hush Birthplace of Hip Hop Tour and it was AMAZING. As an educator who has been on thousands of tours, this was EASILY the top three.Guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. If you have the slightest interest in Hip Hop or the cultural shift in the past four decades it is not to be missed. I walked... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
