With a couple of friends, we attended the Harlem/Bronx tour with Grandmaster Caz. As a longtime hip-hop fans, we were excited about visiting the key places of the culture history, accompanied by the legendary rapper. Our expectations were filled just partly. Much of the tour is being spent on the bus. When we finally reached some landmark, we were allowed to enjoy it for just a very, very short moment. For example, 1520 Segdwick ave., the birthplace of hiphop, we spent there just a minute, barely able to even take a picture. Very similarly - Big L mural, or Yankee stadium. I would also expect some other interesting places, that were left off. Instead of this, we spent more than half an hour by unnecessary breakdance lessons, half of the people were not even interested in. Audio/video in the bus also could be improved. Caz and the other youger guy were good tourguides, especially Caz, considering his legendary status and storytelling abilities. However, asking for a tip numerous times and refusing to take a picture without tipping was a bit too much considering the fact, we already paid full price for the ticket.
