The Hush Birthplace of Hip Hop tour was everything I was hoping for. We went to all the big spots in Harlem and the Bronx, listened to great music and ate amazing soul food. Grandmaster Caz was our host and he's one of the greats - a funny engaging tour guide and rap royalty. I would recommend this tour to... More

Absolutely loved my tour guide, lady k. She was pretty knowledgeable about the history of the artwork in Harlem. I like when she said that "wherever there is graffiti, there has been some type of struggle." And I liked learning about the different graffiti artists that have painted the streets of New York. I will definitely come back and explore... More

Fun and Informative. This tour bus was fantastic. The tour guides, Reggie Reg and Rayz Ebe kept the party rocking while they took us to the hot spots of the birthplace of Hip Hop. Being a big hip hop fan, this was a big deal for me. But my wife who knew very little about hip hop loved it and... More

Both tour guides- Reggie Reg and Razor were very entertaining and very knowledgeable about Hip Hop history. We had the opportunity to stop and take pictures of historic places along the way. It's great to know that Hip Hop history is being preserved by Hush tours. I truly recommend this for anyone who has a love for Hip Hop, music,... More

If you love hiphop don't miss this. The authenticity resides within the amazing tour guides, these guys have lived it, one hiphop pioneer from the beginning and an up and coming MC of the future. I only wish I had more time to do more of their tours. The street dance and the break dancing section was also a major... More

This was a fast-paced tour which whizzed us through many historic spots relevant for hip hop lovers in the Bronx and Harlem. The hosts were engaging and relaxed, and we stopped off for some delicious soul food at a restaurant at the end (bring extra cash for this). I would recommend this tour, not only to music fans, but also... More

Excellent hosts Reggie Reg and Razor. Great to listen to some of the stories from back in the day and to visit some of locations that inspired the beginnings of hip hop

I really wanted to do the Brooklyn Tour but the dates didnt match my trip so I did this one instead. It was a lot of fun and Grandmaster Caz was an excellent tour guide!! Lots of passion and pride for the history and of course his craft. Word of advice, dont do this hungover because you need to bring... More

We did this tour because we wanted to see Harlem and the Bronx. And learn more about the culture of hip hop. The tour was fun and interactive. We enjoyed every second of it

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
