I honestly cannot express how amazing this show was. For €50 we enjoyed two tickets and a pitcher of never-ending beer! My boyfriend and I love a good comedy show, and I had reserved these tickets well in advance. We walked through Times Square on the day however and got stopped by a hilarious "broadway comedy" rep who was very... More

I can't wait to come back here. I'm going to try and see a show every time I come to NYC from now on at this place. Great place!

So I've been to many comedy venues. I'm at least 20 years over 21 but as I didn't have ID I wasn't allowed to buy alcohol. There are 3 shows a night and they March you in and turn each set around fast and efficiently. Too efficiently. There's a $12 cover charge and you have to order two items. Not... More

We are big fans of the Comedy Cellar and stand up comedy in general. The tickets for Friday's Midnight show were around $25 with a 2 item minimum. We made reservations a couple nights before for 3 and arrived in time to line up and get checked in. We stood for a good 15 mins in the freezing cold but... More

My wife and I always go to the Comedy Cellar every time we visit New York City. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village on MacDougle St, this small venue packs a big punch! Comedy Cellar is now one of three different venues located in the immediate area of the West 4th subway stop. Just a short walk from the... More

My husband and I had a blast at this comedy club. By far one of the best shows we saw while in NYC. Extremely funny! A little pricey with their 2 drink/food minimum. Will be back for some more laughs in the future.

Visited this spot with coworkers to enjoy some standup. The host was great, and they featured a diverse lineup of comics - which is so rare and to be celebrated!!! Jeff Ross of roast fame stopped by (for at least the second night in a row) and did a great set. Show ran until 2-2:30am and got stale towards the... More

Be prepared to spend at least $100/couple. By the time you buy the tickets to get in and two drinks minimum per person you are looking at at least $100. Service was not fantastic, the comedians were pretty funny though. If you are young and hip this neighborhood is fun after the show...if you are not I would suggest getting... More

Thank you for the review. Just wanted to let you know that shows earlier in the week have a lower cover charge: ($12 per person) and only have a two ITEM minimum per person. You do not have to buy a drink - it can be a water and a side of fires. Hope that helps. More

I haven't laughed so much in a long time! With a great variety of comedians, all different kind of style, fun interaction with the guest and good drinks. Couldn't wish for a better night!

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
