Brought my show to the Duplex Cabaret Theater along with Tym Moss and Robbyne Kaamil and had a blast. Truly the best CROWD comes in here and no one judges anybody. Special SHOUT OUT to Lisa/Thomas/Poppi/Michael and the ENTIRE Staff who make everyone feel welcome. I couldn't imagine spending PRIDE anywhere else for this special PRIDE in NYC!

Visited one Sunday night with my partner and a friend what a hoot! We had just spent the night at Lips then followed one of the queens over. The drag show was mint still laughing at the lion king number. We then sat down stairs and the young lad who was playing the piano and signing was really good such... More

We came across this bar for a quick search of places to go in the west village. It's located right next to the metro, which was great considering the torrential downpour that was happening at the time. What a great place this is! Downstairs is a bar with a piano player, who for a tip will play requests. Also very... More

We stumbled on this place after a few hours in fat cat. What an awesome place this is! The whole place singing at the top of their lungs to a guy on a piano. Great bar staff with beautiful voices too. All round winner, and far enough away to be a locals place not touristy!! Make sure you find this... More

This bar has so much character and charisma. The bar tender, Michael, was excellent. Very friendly and just an all round nice guy. The entertainment was great. I particularly enjoyed the story hour with Julia and the piano singing. I'm afraid I don't remember the man's name because I was a little tipsy. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

So much has changed in NYC as it has become more sanitised and disneyesque. One of the main focuses of the City has been the Broadway shows. This bar downstairs has so much character with focus on Broadway music and has not changed since my last visit . The singer was so talented with great banter and able to play... More

If you like people singing live and a piano as the main instrument then this is your bar. They have varied nights throughout the week but it's always a fun night whatever the day.

Wanted a couple of beers after an evening meal and found this place with seats outside and live music. It was incredibly busy inside with people watching the cabaret but got a table on the terrace which was great as it is at a very busy intersection so fun watching the traffic chaos, cabs beeping their horns and crowds walking... Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
