We had a group that went for a bachelorette party and we had the VIP section at the top. They serve dinner first and then the club flips over to club life. The drinks were not good, the appetizers were good. We had a good time but the crowd was kind of thin for a Friday night. We enjoyed it... More

Cool spot. Bought a Groupon and went to the 40/40 Club last night (Monday) around 8:30 PM. The place was empty, but the atmosphere was nice and the service was good. My brother and I enjoyed the TVs, music, and dinner. Because the door was kept open, there was a fly that kept flying around our food and a mosquito... More

We went to the 40/40 Club over Fourth of July weekend, this club/restaurant is super cool and trendy with a laid back vibe. The seating for dinner was in large comfortable couches with TV's galore, super cool. The food was very good, huge plates of appetizers, delicious entrees and the cocktails, outstanding! The best part of our experience at the... More

Visited here because I heard it was Jay Z's bar and hoped for good things, wasn't ready for the fantastic service I received when I arrived! Me and my friends were given a vip room free of charge, personal waitress service and given a personal tour of the whole place! With all the amazing things there is to do when... More

Glitz and glam in ny city. Doorman was a little sarcastic but only in fun. Food was very good as were the cocktails. Service was very slow we waited half an hour for our first drinks.

I would say the best club in New York but it had a laid back environment. Everyone was there to enjoy themselves. There were not a lot of interactions in between strangers for what i could tell. You have to bring your own friends in order to enjoy the night.

Took my son to see Music Artist Jay-Z 40/40 Club, it was absolutely beautiful inside. We had steaks and salmon for dinner. Which was season well and delicious, our waitress was very sweet. It was her first day, she was very professional. We made sure we left her a big tip, it was great to see her smile when she... More

Nice place to hang with a few friends, no pressure, cool with a smoke room and tv's for games. Still low key

We visited here for late night drinks and upon entry, security at the door was very rude for no reason and asked how long would we be. Thought that was strange, so first encounter not looking good. finally got in, it was your typical sports bar with loud music and big tv screens and playing only, while we were there,... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
