Took my daughter to see Phantom for the first time. Nice theater, especially since we were next door at the Row Hotel. Only negative was the rude people in audience.... cell phones, talking, etc., even while music was playing. Sign of the times I guess.

This theater is absolutely stunning! Classic charm, elegant stature, graceful decorations! I saw The Phantom Of The Opera and walked away trying to find words that did the performance and the theater justice. The acoustics are great! The special effects are fantastic! The coordination of directing traffic in and out of their seating areas was smooth. This is an absolute... More

We saw The Phantom of the Opera again yesterday. This theater is nice, but the seats are very small if you are a large person. Be prepared to be cramped in your seat for 2 1/2 hours. Oh, yeah, the refreshments are way overpriced - I paid $5 for a 12 oz. bottle of water that costs 34 cents at... More

What a beautiful theater. My husband and I saw Phantom of the Opera. We had excellent seats, the acoustics were great, and the staff were friendly. $15 for a mixed drink seemed a little expensive though. All in all, we would go back to this theatre again.

Nice old theatre, Phantom of the Opera with great special effects but the sold out show made it very hard to navigate getting anywhere. Especially difficult to get to the bathroom during intermission which made us late back to the show and we missed getting refreshments completely since they are only open during intermission. Great experience though!

We opted to see Phantom after our original show got cancelled. Oh my god I'm so glad we did! It was absolutely amazing! From the moment the famous music started I had goosebumps run right through me. The theatre suits it well. They have a big chandelier that they lift up at the start and then drop it just before... More

The theatre is old and nostalgic. Phantom of the Opera was fantastic. The cast, the musical score are over the top. This was on my bucket list and I was not disappointed. Concessions were very pricy but it is New York City.

My daughter and I saw Phantom of the Opera here at the Majestic June 13th. The production was top-notch, sets and lighting amazing, and the music soul-stirring. We were in the very back of the uppermost section of the theatre but the sound was perfect and we were able to see everything happening on the stage. This is not a... More

This show is famous and no doubt is good as it is. The theater itself is also beautiful, they have open bar. Show is going in two parts and break is just enough to go to restroom and to buy another drink at the bar. Recommend it, if you can - go see it. You will have great memories from... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
