On Your Feet

Great representation of Gloria Estefan's life. Great music of course but also very inspiring. The leads were excellent in this super production. See it!

I think Lewis Black is a very funny man. I saw him at the Marquis Theater in September 2016. I thought he would have a plethora of funny material with an upcoming presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Although he had his moments, I thought he was lacking in quality material for a Broadway show performance.

The Get on Your Feet musical was a fantastic experience. The whole family enjoyed the show. It is a summary of the life of singer Gloria Estefan. All her popular songs were included throughout the show, and included dancing to the latin and crossover sound.

As stated by others, the seating was tight---------but most of the seats in the orchestra section are fine except the far sides , left or right and not past row s (did not check mezz. section). -------------The play was well done by the entire cast-----------but, the absolute highlight is ana villafane who plays gloria estefan-------------Ana sounded just like Gloria and... This play made me laugh and cry, very touching story of Gloria and Emilio's struggles to how she became an international star. The young woman that plays Gloria has an amazing voice and sounds very much like the real thing! I thought the seats were very roomy (rock of ages seats are awful) and very comfortable. The bathrooms are located... More

The theater is accessed through escalators from the Marriott lobby. As other reviewers have stated, bathrooms are outside the theater entrance. There are additional bathrooms on the upper floors that service the restaurants. The seats are relatively tight. We purchased 2 isle seats on the center aisle in the left-back orchestra in rows p and q. I have attached a... More

We saw the pulse quickening play On Your Feet, yesterday. The musical, the story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan is excellent. Ana Villafane, as Gloria, is a look alike/sound alike actress/dancer/singer. She and the entire cast present a spectacular Latin music extravaganza with all the songs of the Miami Sound Machine. This musical is sure to bring the most hardened... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
