One of the tighter sized theaters on Broadway, but not the worst. Long legs beware or get an aisle seat. Vaccine cards & masks required for entry. The show itself is fun and funny and the actors are incredibly talented.

We came here to see Six. I’d been warned of the tight seating by other Broadway fans, and the seat size/legroom is lacking, but not nearly as bad as others (I’m looking at you, Broadhurst). The restrooms are upstairs and they have an attendant moving things along. Extra Bar & merch stand upstairs as well. The show was fantastic!

Such an awesome experience. The Theatre is amazing, and they did a good job renovating it. The seats were a little small. But the view I had was the best! They get you right to your seat. If you want to purchase anything you have to do it at the end of the show. Great Place!

Had ticket for "six" via Ticketmaster which did not load correctly on my phone for entry. Huge shout out to staff who hustled me to box office who efficiently produced my ticket. Loved theater size, intimate so most seats good view of stage. Impressed with staff and building itself.

It is an older theatre. The architecture is nice and the view is decent even from the back of the theatre. Even for a smaller person the seats were tight though. Very uncomfortable.

This review is to provide potential theater-goers seating comparisons for the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, complete with pictures! I saw the Spring Awakening revival here twice, once in Front Orchestra Right (row C) and the second time in Rear Mezzanine Left (row G). This theater being on the smaller side, the view from rear mezzanine was great. It was an excellent vantage point to take in all the proceedings, without feeling far removed from the action. As someone with not great vision, I could still well enough to make out some of the actor's facial expressions. Just don't expect a lot of leg room as per usual. I'll bet front row mezzanine would have be incredible, and I don't hesitate to recommend nabbing those seats. If I had know beforehand, I would have purchased that over Front Orchestra right seats. First few rows of front orchestra doesn't seem to be raked, so there is some head blockage, since I am on the short side. With an expansive set and cast, like in this show, it was hard to know what to focus on from this up close. On the upside, you are close enough to see everyone's facial expressions, which is nice as well.

While in NYC our first time; we decided to take in a Broadway show. As most would agree they can be quite pricey. After comparing venue to price, we decided to check out "It Should've Been You."
We approached the ticket window and asked about available seating options. We were told that the side box seats were the best value at $35 each compared to $100+ elsewhere in the theater. The only drawback if any was a slight obstruction of the extreme corners of the stage. They said nothing happens there anyway during the show; people just shy away from them. We bought two box seats on the left side and ended up with excellent seats for a great performance. 👍

Lovely classic style theatre was like being in the west end, watched the performance of SIX and it was spectacular, would have happily gone and seen it again, fabulous

Went to see Waitress here, had the value tickets at the back of the theatre but don't let that put you off. Had a good view of stage and comfy seats with plenty of room. Well organised theatre with a good atmosphere, first time to see a Broadway show and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Went to see Waitress with my family. Seamless entry into the venue by the staff. Sat in F20 and I was afraid my view would be bad because I was in the very corner but pleasantly surprised that my view wasn’t hindered for the most part. I couldn’t see into the corners to see the entire staging but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the show. My brother was in F22 and he said his view was fine too even though his seat was even more on the edge. The people in front of me also didn’t hinder my view because of the staggered seats. Seats are cramped but is to be expected.

Would I be better off to get orchestra seats or front mezzanine? I am going to by myself while my sister and her family go to see Aladdin. Thanks!

It all depends on your preferences and your resources. I just checked seatgeek for Saturday’s performance (9/29) and they have e-tickets in row O (3rd row from the back center of orchestra) for $234 and front mezzanine right in row D for $240.
Obviously, it’s a lot easier to find single seats so you have more options. Have you also considered the Playbill site and checked out lottery tickets or Standing Room Only (SRO)? For Waitress, lottery is $40 and SRO is $32.
My family of four paid $99 for each orchestra left row M for the 12JUN2018 show. After the show, Jason Miraz hosted a karaoke show; get up on stage if you enjoy the songs and want to claim that you sang on Broadway! (I think I may have included viewpoints from orchestra left and mezzanine in my review of Waitress.)
To sum it up, it’s all on your preference; sit up in mezzanine and get a downward view of the stage, or sit in the back Orchestra for about the same cost. The theatre is small enough that you’ll enjoy the acoustics either way!

I am going to New York in May for a week and would like to see this musical, do you think if I wait to get tickets when I'm there it will be fine?

We went to the tickets broker in Times Square the morning of the show and bought tickets. We had a list of shows to see and went with what was available. If you have your heart set on a show the only way to guarantee tickets are to buy ahead of time
