The theatre staff are so friendly and helpful. Booster seats for the kids to see the show! We also enjoyed the costume from the show stating it’s Tony awarded winning designs. Thanks for making it a memorable time.
Saw The Lion King here. The theater is very nice.
It was clean and the staff was very nice. Looked at our tickets and told us where to find our seats. A little chilly in the theater so wear a sweatshirt.
As a great lover of theatre, and a regular attendee of my home equivalent, the West End, I had very high expectations.
Now don’t get me wrong, the show was incredible, dancers and singers! The african drums made it!
But the audience, so disgustingly disrespectful,...More
The seats in this theatre actually have leg room! That is a great point, if you have been in other theatres on Broadway where your knees are in the neck of the person in front of you. Plus the seats seem to be a little...More
We saw the Lion King here. Great theater with lots of good seating. Leg room is definitely an issue, as the space between aisles is very small. Other than that, this is an awesome theater and is definitely worth seeing a show at.
The lion king is superb and well worth a visit. I've seen it in Vegas and London too and this was the best. Plenty of leg room in the seats which is always an issue for me!
Only negative was people behind with young children...More
The Lion King is a spectacle! The singing, the acting, the puppeteering...everything is so finely done. The story is both fun and tragic. This show is one the whole family can go to and be amazed by.

There are three parking lots within a block of the theater. I cannot enter websites into the answer, but if you do a search on "Parking lots near Minskoff Theater" you will see them with addresses, etc.

Good Day to all, I may have come across as dicey in from my last forum post but i assure you, the great people of the greater tripadvisor community that nothing could be further from the truth, that i am a respectable and respectful 2nd year University student who, in retrospect, regrets the crass nature of my previous post, and i did not mean to offend anyone at all. I have been to NYC once before (2008) and i do not maximise my time spent in this great part of the world, all due to...More

Minskoff Theatre on New Years Eve 2011 (3 Replies)
Hi, I just purchased tickets for a 2 p.m. show at Minskoff Theatre on Dec 31st and have just discovered that it is right near Times Square. Am I going to have any trouble accessing the theatre with News Years Eve crowds? I've read that you can't get anywhere near Times Square!

You will indeed be able to access the theater by entering the area from the 8th avenue side and the same route when you exit...It will be crowded but very passable and you will be thanking your lucky stars that you decided not to do what those fools are doing--- when you exit the theater they still will be out in their pens for another 7 hours or so.
How Will This Affect Me? (27 Replies)

*** What if anything do I need to do or know?? *** You just need to know that Mayor Bloomberg is becoming a maniacal ruler who is plotting to do away with term limits (but only when it comes to him) and is hell bent on closing all traffic in Manhattan ..... that's all.
