We came here to see Aladdin, which was good. We sat in row AA on the mezzanine level. Had a great view. The theater's decor is outdated and the seats are antiquated. Please know this is just a review of the theater. I would go again but it's nothing special to look at.

What a beautiful theatre with great acoustics and history! We saw Aladdin the Musical and it was a phenomenal show. We felt that we were in old fashioned theaters, with cascading balconies, which was really nice. The seats were comfortable and the view from anywhere in the theater was great!. We sat in the Orchestra level 7 rows back from... More

The musical was delightful & all ages seemed to enjoy the show. Obviously The Genie stole the show ! Our seats were balcony center & very reasonable for a NY show.

Went here to watch Aladdin. The theater was very well located just off times square. The theater has a lot of character to it. We sat on the highest level on the 3rd tier and the view was till great.

Loved the new Amsterdam theater! It's smaller and very intimate. Every seat seemed close to the stage. They also have booster cushions for the kids. The wood carvings are amazing! Easy to get to, and loved being able to exit the theater near the stage door. We got to see Genie from Aladdin after the show! Was so awesome!

We went to see Aladdin here and the theater is lovely. The staff are all helpful, everyone was seated quickly. The only down side is compared to other theaters in NY the seats are quite close together. The show is amazing, beyond my expectations! Definitely go and see it! :)

We attended a showing Aladdin here & this place is amazing. The staff is friendly & efficient at getting everyone in and seated quickly. The one down side is how tightly packed & small the seat are. My fiance is 6ft and had no space for his legs. He was quite uncomfortable. We both we uncomfortable about how close together... More

Saw Aladdin here for a matinee show with my 7 yo. Orchestra seats center gave an amazing view. Staff here are amazing and presumably Disney trained which really helps with the amount of children there. HUGE bonus for the littles, BOOSTER SEAT CUSHIONS! They don't slide or shift and give the wee ones just enough added height to see over... More

Honestly, I knew it would be amazing to see a Broadway play, but Aladdin was beyond belief. Set and costume changes were constant, the actors were so like the Disney movie characters, and the magic carpet ride was so realistic (is that possible?). The Genie was the best of all - like Cedric the Entertainer mixed with Robin Williams (great... More

The theatre in which Disney's Aladdin is housed is just amazing. So nostalgic and beautifully restored it makes you go 'wow' when you first enter. The show itself was magical. It truly did take us to 'a whole new world' and the cast (Original Broadway Cast) were just incredible. Such amazing vocals and talent that I was showered in goosebumps... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
