The view from the seats were great. Could see the choreography and the props really well. The show Aladdin was amazing . The special effects leaves you wondering how on earth did they manage to do that. !! This is a must see spectacular show!

I took my family here to see the Aladdin musical recently and really enjoyed this theater. Walking through it they show the pictures of past performers which really gives you a sense of the history this building has seen. I would caution anyone sitting in the Balcony section that they do have polls that can obstruct some people's views. However,... More

The theater is very beautiful, but the seating is so very uncomfortable due to the seat size and row spacing. If you are over 5ft 7 inches tall, have long legs, or are overweight (even slightly), it could be uncomfortable sitting in the seats, which do NOT provide much leg room or width for wider people. Men, who often sit... More

The New Amsterdam Theater is a beautiful theater that has been around for a while. The architecture is gorgeous. Seating allows for great views of the stage.

Although we didn't see a performance at this theatre, we did do a tour of it. We had a group of 30 and the tour was awesome. The theatre is absolutely gorgeous, and we learned of the history of the theatre, which was very interesting. We also got to try on props that were used in actual performances which the kids... More

While on our recent trip to New York, we went to watch the musical Alladin at the New Amsterdam Theater. In our group were two children, aged 6 and 2. The theater staff went out of their way to make sure that we were escorted to our seats and offered booster seats for the kids. They also helped us check... More

This was such a great show! Fun and non stop dancing. Children and adults alike, we all loved it and had a great time! The theatre is over a hundred years old and just beautiful. Don't miss this!

We visited this beautiful theater to see Aladdin the musical. We had a great view from Box #4. This theater is an older theater and absolutely stunning. The architecture is so beautiful and detailed

Attended the show for Aladdin and the show itself was so good. The theater was really nice inside and the architecture was really cool if you take a minute to look around. The seats are very small and if you are on the heavier or tall side you may find yourself uncomfortable and may want an isle seat. The acoustics... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
