Great New York Venue
Dec 2019 • Friends
As most people know New York City is one of the premier spots on the globe to take in a show. Now with that said New York City is also the home to countless venues to see one at. Trust me and take a shot on this one. Regardless of the show you’ll enjoy the venue.

The illusionists magic of the holidays
Dec 2019 • Couples
Was disappointed Shin Lin was not performing. The show was not what I expected for broadway. The star of the night was the master of ceremony, without him, would give the performance 2 stars. Way over priced and sub par talent.

Stay home and watch TV
Dec 2019 • Couples
I love magic especially when it is live. How do they do that? This show lacks excitement and is essentially like watching a magic show at home on your television. The theater is old and in need of renovation. The rows are so close together you get very friendly with those folks in front of and behind you. Live magic should leave you breathless. Thus show tries but does not succeed.

Great Theater
Dec 2019 • Family
We saw The Illusionists Magic of the Holidays show and head a great time. The show was filled great magic acts and very funny jokes. It is great for kids and adults. Every illusionist has his own style and completely different acts, which kept this two hour show going by very quickly. The theater has a very good seating configuration, which gives you a great view, no matter where you sit.

Great theater, great show!
Jul 2019
Saw "The Cher Show" here in July. (Not Cher, but a show about her.) Three Cher leads, each from a different part of her life. They went to a lot of trouble to sound and act like Cher. The venue itself was great; clean, organized, had a great view.

Excellent Evening
Sep 2019
The theater is beautiful. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The location is perfect and I drove in. There is a parking garage right across the street where I paid $25 to park whch I found very cheap. There are several good and inexpensive restaurants to grab dinner before your show,

Cher show
Aug 2019 • Friends
Beautiful theatre, great show. Many great places in the area to enjoy lunch or dinner pre or post theatre. I would highly recommend this theatre but like many of the older theaters it it not really handicapped accessible. They have an area wheelchairs can get to but no elevators. That would be my only complaint. Unless you are in a wheelchair you are on your own. I have several ailments that I need an elevator

Good visibility
Aug 2019 • Friends
People moved in and out pretty quickly before and after the show.
The orchestra seats are well staggered so you can see between the people in front of you. They aren’t the most comfortable tho. By the end of the show my back was aching.
There are also lots of women’s bathrooms downstairs so the line moved fairly quickly.

Info about the venue for big/tall people or those with mobility issues
Aug 2019 • Friends
I went to see The Cher Show and it was fabulous!

If you are a big or tall person, you may have heard about how tiny the seats are in broadway theaters and may be concerned about your comfort or even ability to fit in the seat (without imposing upon your neighbors) for the duration of the show. In fact, a lot of reviews that I read about this theater complained about the narrow seats. Here is some information that might be helpful.

I sat in the last row of the orchestra for the first act. I am currently an oversized patron myself (XXXL), and have knee issues. I found the orchestra seat comfortable in both width and leg room. I was seated on an aisle and did lean slightly in that direction to allow extra space for my arms and shoulders without imposing on my neighbor or on the arm rest between us. If I had been seated between two other people, our shoulders/upper arms probably would have touched. My knees were about 2 to 3" from the seat in front of me, but I was able to stretch out my feet underneath the seat in front of me, so I was quite comfortable. A friend who is 5'8" but slim also had about 2 to 3" between her knees and the seat in front of her.

For the second act, I went up to the mezzanine to join some friends, since there were some open seats up there.

The seats in mezzanine right were the same width as the orchestra seat. The main issue here is the leg room. The rows of seats are set about as far apart as they are in the orchestra, but the pitch in the mezzanine level is steep, so the foot level for one row is against the seat backs of the preceding row. That means that you cannot stretch your feet out under the seat in front of you.

The seats in the center mezzanine were by far the smallest in terms of both their width and leg room. They were narrower than the other seats by about 1-1/2" and I would have found them uncomfortable. They also had the same leg room issues as the side mezzanine seats, where you cannot stretch your feet out under the seat in front of you.

So overall, I think that the orchestra seats are roomy and comfortable. The seats in the center mezzanine, in contrast, are narrow with little leg room. Seats in the right mezzanine (and I assume the left but do not know) are wider but still have leg room issues.

If you have people in your party with mobility issues, some additional information you may find useful to know: The theater itself is small and it dedicates almost all of that space to the house, with virtually no lobby area to speak of. There are no bathrooms on the orchestra level. You have to walk down a flight of 25 steps to the lower level, where there are bathrooms and also a bar for concession sales. I do not know if there is an elevator.

There are also stairs up to the mezzanine level and then the seating in the mezzanine level itself has a steep pitch between rows. There is a small lobby on the mezzanine level with bathrooms and concession and souvenir sales.
