I commend the staff for their organization skills!
We recently saw Sweeney Todd at this theater. The performance was sold out, so you can well imagine the amount of people that were in attendance. About 45 minutes prior to the start, the doors were opened, and staff were outside directing patrons into entry lines, depending on the location of their seats. People lined up along the sidewalk, and there were several attendees dispersed to be sure that as people arrived, they knew to walk to the back of the line, which stretched nearly the entire block. The line moved quickly without incident. Once through the doors, we were greeted by a very friendly ticket taker, who scanned both of our tickets, then directed us through the door. Several ushers where inside, making certain that we got to our seats without issue. During intermission, the audience had 15 minutes to use the bathrooms. Once again, there were several ushers assuring the easiest path to the facilities, and a woman inside the ladies' room, that stood and directed each person where to go as each stall opened. What a brilliant idea! That one single woman was key to a quick transition that made the entire process efficient and quick! Once again, upon leaving, there were ushers to direct the departing patrons so that each one could leave the building without issue. I have to commend the staff on their cheery dispositions, as well as the effort that went into making sure that people got through the doors as quickly and efficiently as possible. Such a pleasant experience!

    Great
It is a decent sized theater with a balcony that is quite high. I saw Sweeney Todd there and the show was great. Make sure to checkout the interior of the theater as well, as the theater itself is worth a look.

Been in this theater for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Tina The Musical and Sweeney Todd... and it's one of my favorite venues. There is no going wrong when choosing a seat. The current production of Sweeney Todd is a must see!

    Lovely theater
Beautiful theater! We saw Sweeney Todd here. Ushers and staff were nice and efficient. Bartenders hustled and we’re ready for the next order. Comfortable seats, easily found bathrooms.

"Sweeney Todd" at the Lunt Fontaine.
Seeing a Broadway show was long on my bucket list. "Sweeney Todd" starring Josh Groban was simply a stellar experience. The theater was an intimate size, making our seats really feel up close to the stage. We could see the facial expressions of the actors quite well. I was surprised at the small size of the theater, as our performing-arts theater at home (Lincoln, NE) was easily four times the size of the Lunt Fontaine, but again, this made for a great viewing experience. I highly recommend a Broadway performance to everyone!

Sweeney Todd At The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre
When we came to New York we hadn’t pre booked a show, So one of the days we decided to have a little walk around the theatre land to see which did the best price. Sweeney Todd did the best priced ticket and with a good view. But I was happy because I wanted to see Sweeney Todd all along! All I can say is positive things about the show! I loved it and so did my partner! The lead characters were fantastic! And just to top it off we had no idea Gaten Matarazzo was in it so that was certainly a surprise! The cast came out of the stage door at the end to do autographs and photos and I thought they were all so polite and friendly! The theatre was well organised! Staff were very helpful and friendly and the seats were comfortable with a great view! Would love to come again!

    Sweeney Todd, Wow!
Went to see Sweeney Todd on the 19/10. This was an exceptional show! Me and my daughter were blown away. Casting, acting, singing and comedy timing were superb. Cast came to the stage door afterwards to sign playbills. They were all so friendly and the icing on the cake was getting to meet Gaten Materazzo this man is truly talented. Gaten even took the time to take a selfie with my daughter a moment she will always treasure! What a lovely guy, Thanks Gaten!!

Good theater - great show (Sweeney)
The theater is a traditional Broadway theater, currently running Sweeney Todd. I found the seats to be a bit narrow, and at 6’3” my knees were pressed into the seat in front of me. Skip the bar line upstairs and head downstairs. You’ll find the bathrooms on this lower level and a much shorter bar line. Drinks were rather pricy… the couple in front of me bought 2 doubles and it was $70 before tip. Stage and lighting were fantastic, and the slope of the orchestra seating made for great stage viewing

Great theatre, great location and amazing performance just a shame a few of the staff members ruined the experience with a mask requirement considering there are no mask requirements in the rest of the country. Ruined the experience as we weren’t allowed to eat or drink without the mask on. Staff checking if masks were worn were rude and unnecessary. Wouldn’t recommend until they get rid of the mask requirement

Saw Tina Turner show. The young lady who played Tina actually outplayed Tina . She was beyond amazing . Probably the best musical I’ve seen in 30 years . Great music, great plot, and fabulous star! I have felt for along time that the broadway shows have depended on glitz rather than substance . This show had it all ! Wow and Wow. Throw out the substandard Loyd Weber garbage . This show was amazing

I went to this theater to see the musical about Tina Turner and it was mind blowing. I love the second part of the show because its more like a concert than a show. I had amazing time and i hope to see a good musical like this one very soon.

Wonderful production of Sweeny Todd. Great seats purchased that morning from the box office rush seats at 10 am. However, the double gin and tonic my friend and myself ordered cost as much as the tickets. With the tip, nearly £100 for two drinks! I wish I had known how expensive the bar was. I felt stupid and it took away some enjoyment of the show. Be warned- the bar prices are astronomical.
