The ride is only four minutes long but what a view! If you are using a MetroCard then it is one fare each way. If not you should!

you do have to get off and reswipe your MetroCard but there was an operator on our tram.

It's just a ride and you can come straight back. Nothing much at the other end but we had a quiet walk on the river side and park

I am a 80 year old senion. When I purchase a ticket to use the nymta I purchase a $2.75 cents ticket which allows me to go and return. Do I buy this same ticket in order to ride on the tram?

You can buy a ticket mta card at the Tramway entrance.
