Loved it! So happy to hear they were able to get investors and continue to perform in 2017!

We saw the Big Apple Circus in Boston in May of 2016. I know it's for kids, and I know it's a weird place for two adult males to go, but when I walked by the outside of the adorably lit and decorated circus tent that smelled of cotton candy and popcorn, I couldn't resist and bought tickets immediately. Ticket... More

I've heard about it for years but words don't describe it! No, it's not caged animals being paraded - it's goofy vaudeville that you can't help to laugh at... Highly recommended!

This year's circus was a major change from previous shows. Focus is mostly on performers with 1 pony and dogs. I prefer that large animals are not included as t He focus can be on the show & performances. The trapeze is omitted with many Arial performances taking its place. Great show, excellent performers. Two thumbs up. A must for... More

My family and friends just had a special night enjoying the Big Apple Circus in Cunningham Park, Queens,NY. It wasn't until mid show that we realized it's a nonprofit circus serving over 300,000 under the big top each year and 250,000 other spectators through their various community programs. Pretty impressive! We made the drive from Manhattan and found the free... More

My husband and I attended the BIG APPLE CIRCUS for the first time. We attended last night's performance in Bridgewater, NJ. It was a lot of fun, better than expected! The BIG APPLE CIRCUS is currently touring, and its them is Around the World (with a 1920s motif). The choreography is great,a d the show perfectly executed. Timing was spot... More

Went to the Big Apple Circus about few years ago and remembered enjoying it back then. Our little one is now 5 years old, so we figured that he would have a whole new appreciation of the circus this time around. I knew that it had been running for a while this season, but I did not seriously consider going... More

Set up outside Lincoln Center is a one ring circus. Not a circus with elephants and camels or lions and tigers. But a circus that focuses on humans, human talent, and a few ethically treated dogs, ponies, and a couple horses. Open for several months each year this is a NYC established place. The show changes year to year too.... More

We went to the New Year's Eve performance of the Big Apple circus and it was a great choice of entertainment for the evening. Our kids were constantly on the edge of their seats and amazed throughout the performance (as were the parents!). It was our first time to the circus as a family and we'll definitely be returning.

Tucked neatly in a series of tents next to the fabled Metropolitan Opera House is the Big Apple Circus. I bought tickets as a lark online and took a date. It was nothing short of wonderful. The Circus involves a series of Acts linked my the theme of world wide travel. The performers are enthusiastic, talented and joyful. I had... More

Took my grandson, our family has gone 3 times before over past 10 yrs. overall quality and atmosphere has gone down hill. Entrance to big top is dirty, no atmosphere. New ring master has no presence and the two clowns are not that funny compared to Grandma and the red headed spiked clown from years past. Acts were ok but... More
