I’ve been a long time delta customer and have had previous good experience with Priceline. No more for either. It was horribly stressful, paying for checked luggage for an overnight flight? Awful, delayed takeoff by two hours and a lost e reader. I won’t be...More
We are spoiled to have been to many world class circus shows, and we know our circus, and what a quality show means. Lately, unfortunately, Cirque de Soleil has effectively eclipsed and substituted authentic circus performances. Nothing wrong about Cirque de Soleil, but it has...More

Fun circus with great acts for all ages. Some amazing feats of strength and flexibility. An early cirque de soleil type show. Horses more impressive than the dogs. Kids as young as three were enthralled. Get there early if you plan to eat. Food expensive...More
My Grandson who is Twenty was visiting me from Tampa. I wanted to show him the beauty and thrills of seeing New York at night so I took him to Lincoln Center to see the Big Apple Circus. The acts were funny, entertaining and amazing....More
We had a great time! We need to keep the tradition of the circus alive. The acts kept us entertained the entire time. It is well worth the money. The show was about 2 hours and the performers were on hand for autographs and pictures...More
This was our first time at the Big Apple Circus, and I think it was the most fun my grandkids ever had (ages 6 and 9). They loved every minute of it! The show was great, and it is not overwhelming for kids because there...More
I've always been a fan of The Big Apple Circus. I remember going to see them as a child under the big tent at Cunningham Park in Queens. That was well over 30 years ago! Very entertaining with great humor that appeals to all ages.
We visited the Big Apple Circus at Philadelphia Mills on June 9. The atmosphere and the performers were great. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter had a great time. It was a treat to see Nick Walenda and his family in action. Clowns, dogs, horses...More
Just reading another post re Swan boats We are travelling between 12 - 20 April with 4 year old and 2 year old. Will the swan boats be open at this time? Would Big Apple Circus be worh going to? Also would duck tours be suitable given their ages. Thanks

The Swan Boats open for the Season on Saturday April 17. April 17 also marks the start of school vacation week for us so some of the museums and stuff will be adding kid-oriented activites. Monday the 19th is Patriots' Day ... the Marathon is run that day and in Lexington and Concord there will be historical reinactments. I took my kids to the Big Apple Circus when they were 3 and 5 and it wasn't the best experience. It's only one ring, and some of the acts while amazing feats of...More
New Years Eve in NY with 5 kids (7 Replies)
With 5 kids ( ages 6,7,11,14 &16) we are looking for suggestions of what to do Nye, thinking about 9.30pm show Big Apple Circus which finishes at 11.30pm then walking to central park to see fireworks. My biggest worry is the safety of our children, getting crushed, not losing one of them and getting back to our hotel near Penn Station. Any opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can easily do this, and no, children are not regularly crushed to death in New York.
