Nice place good music

We were a group of nine Greek girls and we had a great time in this place! Nice drinks, good music and very warm hospitality!

This is a cool place for Lesbians to hang, nice environment, the staff is cool and friendly. I have been going there for the past 5 years or so and it's getting better as time go on. The price of alcohol is Manhattan price but wish they would have a happy hour with the top shelf and better beer; that... More

Great live music, very welcoming crowd, was hopping - even for a Sunday night. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Went here back in late 90's, friendly and reasonably priced drinks. Will look in next time I'm in NYC.

Great dancing, music, and even karayoke! The staff is fantastic, and the environment has a great and friendly vibe. It is very friendly to the Lesbian/Gay community and it has a safe, fun and inclusive feel. It can definitely get crowded and the dance floor packed, but that makes it more fun. The decor is nothing special, but great people,... More

Absolutely amazing place and Lisa was wonderful to us and made us feel so welcomed. We took our wedding party over to Henrietta Hudson's after we had dinner and Lisa treated us to champage and fantastic hospitality. This is a great place and we look forward to going back on our next trip.

My girlfriend and I went here a few years ago during a work trip to New York. We wanted to find a women's bar with a fun environment, good drinks, and a dance floor. While we were not overly impressed with the venue itself, we met some really great couples who were fun to talk to! The bar is pretty... More

My partner and I wanted to find the right place to unwind in a LGBT friendly environment. HH is all about the music. They need a much larger dance floor. The place was packed with women and we danced for hours. Love the outdoor seats and I am so glad NYC is smoke free in bars. It would be unbearable... More

What can I say, music isn't all that great and dancing space small and on friday and saturday nights just plain too crowded. The crowd has now become either too old or too young . Bouncers are just not the most polite out there but then again when have you seen a happy bouncer? prices are ok I suppose. I... More

I heard that this old mainstay of the women's bar scene had recently 're-opened' and wasn't sure what I would find with so many of the other 'old places' now closed as well. I was happy to find that it felt the same. The women were friendly, the drinks weren't outrageously priced and they now have a DJ. I had... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
