The Carnegie Club is a real treasure for cigar smokers. The leather chairs and couches were welcoming and made for a cozy, intimate atmosphere in which to listen to music while enjoying a good cigar and nice cocktail.

This is a really neat place to come and relax and smoke a cigar. The cigar menu is decent and cover is built into the price of these. You can also buy from the Davidoff store around the corner and show your receipt to avoid the cutting fee. Drinks are excellent - I recommend the old fashioneds and Sazeracs.

We decided to go last minute on a Saturday and emailed Scott who found us a place at the bar and made us feel most welcome, Steven Maglio was fantastic and we danced the night away with great music, good wine and a nice cigar! You don't have to smoke to enjoy this place but you will have to put... More

The cigars are professionally stored and served in a perfect condition. The atmosphere at the evening is a pleasant mix of fine relaxation, but also of an entertainment, since a life music played by the Stan Rubin's band, singing Sinatra, was astonishing. A must-visit place for an aficionado.

CC is a cool room, visually appealing using two levels of seating on the first floor and a mezzanine level overlooking the action and the large bar. The furniture is big and comfortable, leather everywhere…chairs, couches, ottomans, coffee tables ….even a cafe table for two tucked away in a corner. Walls are papered with an outrageously perfect bold burgundy stripe... More

"Fly me to the Moon" with Steve Maglio and the Stan Rubin Orchestra singing Sinatra greatest hits, it melts "those little town blues" away! This fantastic show has been running for 11 years for good reason. $40 bucks to see a show like this in New York? You're nuts if you miss it, especially if you're a cigar smoker. Not... More

Place is amazing looks like it is straight out of the 20's. Speakeasy style simply amazing. I kept waiting for Al Capone to sit next to me. Bar staff is friendly and enjoyable. Definitely recommend a visit.

I discovered the Carnegie Club a couple of years ago. It was love at first sight. Every time when I travel to New York City, I always look forward to step into this 'time machine' again... A visit takes You back to the roaring Fifties. I am so incredibly enthusiastic about this club that I qualified it as 'One of... More

If you like Sinatra, cigars and cocktails, this is for you. The band was wonderful and the singer particularly impressive. The wine and cocktails were great, and the place is just great for watching people. Service was great - we never lacked for anything. For me, 10pm is late, so this was a compromise - I did not regret it!... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
