The Rockefeller Center Tour celebrates the rich history and exciting presence of New York's architectural jewel. The center was the ambitious vision of a young John D. Rockefeller and hosts more than 100 breathtaking works of art. In addition to...more
We had the New York Pass and had no issues with a line or getting tickets. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny, and seemed really passionate about the history of the buildings which made the tour that much better. Would 100% recommend.
You won’t know how much you are missing unless you take this tour. Our guide was fantastic. You get a true picture of how the buildings came to be what they represent and the importance of the center to the history of the US especially...More
We used our New York passes for the rockefeller Centre tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating by finding us a/c and shade as it was a very hot day. He took us in buildings within the centre that are open to the...More
I didn’t want to do this tour but my partner did, so I begrudgingly went along with him!! Well I’m glad I did, we had the funniest tour guide I’ve ever encountered, I wish I could remember his name...he was very knowledgeable on everything ‘Rockefeller’...More
What a tour! Aaron is one of the most enthusiastic, hilarious tour guides we’ve ever had - we were quite tired from previous tours that day but he perked us right up! We were shown the art and architecture of the beautiful Rockerfeller Center and...More
Now this tour was on a whim to fill time before a show, and goodness gracious were we surprised and enthralled by Mark. Man had an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, and kept our attention throughout the tour (which is hard for a couple of...More
Had tickets for Top of the Rock and were persuaded to do the tour. So glad we did. Only a hour but we learned so much. Lyndsey, our guide was knowledgeable and made the history and art come to life! Highly recommend.
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Hi X-tina2, The tour takes around 1.5hrs, so if sunset is around 19.40hrs - I'd allow 2hrs prior for the tour. At the end of the tour you get a priority lift to the top (the tour guide helps facilitate this which is a... More

Sorry, can’t remember the address but easy to find via google, If you go into the reception in Rockefeller centre where you buy tickets for the top of the rock etc then they will guide you to a separate waiting area for the tour. It is very well organised and you shouldn’t have any problems once you get to the reception desk.

If you already have your tickets then head for the lobby (all the entrances will lead there) and you'll see a sign saying "top of the rock" it's a black square sign with white lit up writing, the guide waits there for the tour too. They will scan your ticket there before starting so make sure to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled tour slot. Everyone is really helpful so if you feel like you are struggling to find it just ask and one of the employee's will direct you.
If you are not doing Top of the Rock make sure to go up the Empire State Building so you can see the view of the city from above. The views are amazing.
Enjoy the Rockefeller Center Tour!
