As background, I have literally never been to see a "celebrity" before - and I'm almost 60 - so I didn't know what to expect. My daughter, who is in a wheelchair and unable to sit or stand on her own, wanted to see Mariah Carey for her birthday/Christmas. An agent on the phone helped me with getting aisle tickets,... More

Seeing Mariah Carey perform her "All I Want for Christmas is You" concert felt like an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by music appreciators in a Broadway-like setting, while not feeling overwhelmed as you might in a full Broadway theater. Though some patience was required while exiting from the upper balcony all the way to the front door, the whole... More

Went with my brother to see Chris D'Elia do stand-up here. It was a lot of fun, the theatre was very nice, and we got to get a picture with him afterwards!! He left the theatre through the side door. If you're seeing a performer here try waiting around the side to catch them after the show!

Wonderful acoustics in this gorgeous, intimate, clean theatre. We saw Tedeschi Trucks Band in October of this year and were blown away! Why haven't we come up to NY for more shows? I know that TTB can sounds great anywhere but WOW! Our seats were all the way up, last row of the the last section and we saw everything,... More

It's the Beacon! Saw Fab Faux. Clean theatre. Great location near the subway. Tons of restaurants nearby on Amsterdam. One word of "heads up" ... at 6:30 all the restaurants are full. Make reservations! But the theatre has super sounds. Good cocktail selection and all the seats have nice sight lines. Our third trip to the Beacon and we will... More

We went to this theatre to see Steely Dan play. I have been a fan for 40 years and figured I should see these before they or I get too old The Beacon Theatre is truly stunning. An art deco overdose of gold and red. Comfirtable seating with fantastic acoustics. Highly recommended.

The Beacon remains an iconic venue for rock and roll, To experience any concert from inside this art deco, 1929 building is a marvelous and historic event. Tedeschi Trucks band played for over three hours - we were allowed to stand, which was for the best as the girls directly behind me danced their drinks all over my head -... More

A spectacular show in a wonderful venue. Ricky Lee opened and still sounds sweet and jazzy. the Dan boys can still rock the house with an incredible band and singers. Don't miss it!!

I was fortunate enough to see Steely Dan perform their album The Royal Scam at the Beacon Theatre. The Beacon is an incredibly beautiful old theatre with the most gorgeous of the details throughout. I was shocked at the beauty of it all! The seats were comfortable as well. I would definitely go to the Beacon again if the opportunity... More
