I really liked the architectural design of the fountain. The angel sitting atop of it is beautiful. The lake in the background also adds to the beauty of it!

Rainy and wet on the day that we visited but it was still worth the stop. The whole Bethesda Terrace area was very nice.

Located in the central southern section of the park, it is something of a landmark. Unfortunately during our visit the fountains were not operating - all the more reason to return in the summer months. Lovely feature, with lots of people sitting around enjoying the...More

Delightful fountain setting just after the tunnel entrance. There were some impromptu shows happening nearby which were pretty cool.

Loved visiting this part of Central Park! It was a little cold when we were there but I’m so glad we came! Loved the architecture of the fountain and surrounding terrace. Must see!

Loved this place, especially because of Gossip Girl. In the tunnel, near by, in the women’s rest room, I had wrote my name back in 2016, is it still there?

We walked through the park to the fountain area which is lovely for photos - busy part of the park, lots of people & horse carriages about. Lovely view across the water to the boathouse.

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind... literally. It's the weather, not an arbitrary date which determines the fountain's functioning. It's been turned off in warm weather too, if there's a drought, and times when... More
