I've stopped by here a few times and am always impressed how many people are there. Seems like there is always someone there with a guitar singing Lennon songs and how many people love to sit/stand and listen, taking it all in.

Central Park is a wonderful place to visit and a must see is the Strawberry Fields area which has a fitting memorial to John Lennon. Many Beatles fans head for this area where you can find musicians playing classic tunes!

Saturday’s aren’t the day to go here. Far too busy. Would be lovely with 10% of the crowd but when packed all the magic is gone.

Thank you to Yoko for preserving this area of Central Park, and the IMAGINE mosaic in memory of John Lennon. It’s a beautiful part of the Park.

I am not sure. We were there in August in the middle of summer and it was very hot. You would be able to do the walk around the teardrop shape garden path, but if it snows the "Imagine" mosaic on the path would be covered... More
