Long before she was Carole King, chart-topping music legend, she was Carol Klein, Brooklyn girl with passion and chutzpah. She fought her way into the record business as a teenager and, by the time she reached her twenties, had the husband of her dreams and a flourishing career writing hits for the biggest acts in rock 'n' roll. But it wasn't until her personal life began to crack that she finally managed to find her true voice.

We saw five musicals in three days and we would rank this #2 only behind Hamilton. We set in row K of the orchestra and the seats are not tight like the other theaters and I don't think there could be a bad seat in...More

We had no idea Carol King had written so many famous hits. She had a difficult life with 4 husbands, but you walk out of the story smiling since the music is so upbeat. This was a lot of fun and interesting too.

Love music from the 50's, 60's and early 70's? Then this is your musical. We laughed, we cried and we celebrated the life of a wonderful, talented singer and song writer, Carole King.

I first saw this amazing show the second week it opened, and fell in love! I’ve been back to see it 5 times, and would go back again! There’s not a bad seat in the theater. I would say it’s a “Must see!”

We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday in NYC! This show was a highlight of a fabulous weekend. It was enjoyed by my 80 year old parents, two couples in their 50s, and my two early 20 daughters. Music and venue were spectacular!!

A wonderful musical rendition of Carol King’s early career. Songs you didn’t know were Carol’s are a delight discovery. Well acted with marvelous voices.

Last minute decided to get tickets to this show, and got 50% off. It was everything we imagined and both agreed would have been worth it full price! The company was extremely talented, and we were very impressed with all the songs Carol King wrote...More

No there are no inappropriate scenes in the show very PG rated. It does follow Carole King's early years and she had a bad relationship where her husband wasn't faithful.
