We stopped in Bouchon Bakery while walking around Rockefeller Center. I got a peanut butter sandwich cookie and a caramel latte. Both were good. My wife got a lemon meringue tart which she really enjoyed.
The servers behind the counter are so lovely. I had the most delicious lemon meringue tart with a cup of tea during the evening. Although I didn't try they had beautiful macaroons and they were huge! Almost twice the size they normally are.
This French style, American-owned bakery is one of our favorite places in Manhattan for its good coffee and delicious variety of bakeries. Taste is more compromising combination of sweet, crispy, and salty tastes than most American bakeries.

If you love sweet things this is a MUST DO. The quality is blown-minded and everything is hand-maded. Sometimes it gets too crowded so you have to do large lines. Other than that is my favorite bakery!
