As I am a different sort of tenor saxophone player myself I was wondering how I would receive this famously celebrated character. Of course there were plenty of exciting stimulating musical expressions to inspire from that thrilling room looking out over Columbus Column at Christmas night. What an atmosphere! Great music celebration in a wonderful architecture.

Very similar to seeing a broadway show - you are seeing the best of the best, in an amazing authentic setting. The grandness of the center makes you reflect that it is going to be something special, and then you here the music, and realize, this is NYC and they get the top performers. Truly special if you are lucky enough to go, go! The atmosphere around it w/ the restaurants, etc. make for a very NY evening.
