Whether you're a baseball fan yourself or are shopping for one, the Bergino Baseball Clubhouse is a great place to find that perfect baseball-themed gift. A large selection of specialty baseballs, books, artwork and knickknacks means you always find something great -- and usually more than what you were seeking. Just as importantly, owner Jay Goldberg's passion for the game... More

Another great event at Bergino Baseball Clubhouse last night! Ever wonder what happened to the beautiful, magical ballfield where Field of Dreams was filmed? Did you know it's been Iowa's most popular tourist attraction since 1990, the year after the film was first released? Conversation with Denise Stillman, principal owner of the Movie Site where the classic was filmed. She... More

Found out about the Clubhouse on line and after reading the reviews ventured there with high hopes. After arriving and talking to Jay my hopes were realized and then blown away. Great selection and talking to Jay was an absolute treat. Will definitely plan my next trip to NYC to coincide with an in store event as this is the... More

In an intimate and welcoming setting, you will find very unique items and art works for baseball fans that you think may have everything. What they do not have is available at the clubhouse along with baseball art works and books signed by authors that have made appearances there. By stopping in to have a look or to attend an... More

A must "go-to” for any baseball lover! Grateful that I finally found this gem of a store that is also a museum and a venue for book signings and discussions. Jay, the owner, is a very warm person & knowledgeable about every aspect of baseball. The items in this store are unique and very tasteful.

For any fan of Baseball, this place is a must. Great artwork, very interesting book Discussions. Jay is also very helpful with any piece of memorabilia that you. Bought a 1954 Willie Mays Time Magazine cover for a very reasonable price.

Make your pilgrimage to this little shrine and see the holy objects of baseball past. No, not the Hall, but all the reverence of St. Peter's in Rome --- well, maybe a pew. It's a hole-in-the-wall tribute to all things good about the game. Went to two book signings, one had a movie, and loved every minute. It's a grotto... More

If you are a baseball fan and you are visiting New York City, you must make time to stop into the Bergino Baseball Clubhouse in Greenwich Village. Not only does it have a wonderful manager/host, but interesting collectibles and charming gifts related to America's national pastime. Even better, plan to be in the clubhouse for a thoughtful book discussion -... More

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
