Our tour guide was Zed. He did a thorough job of telling us about the main sites around Manhattan. He had a lot of knowledge and you could tell he was a proud New Yorker.

This Christmas we visited New York and booked a Free Tour around the financial district, Battery Park and 11S Memorial through Civitatis. Our guide was Wilson. He was super interactive, dynamic as well as knowledgeable! We really enjoyed the tour and I would recommend same tour and same guide for sure! Trip was cancelled by them at the last minute and I cannot get anyone to contact me for a reason or refund. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. This sucks because I was looking forward to this.

We regret that we were not able to offer you the tour you booked in New York. It is indeed uncommon that we cancel a tour due to lack of participants. However, as the guides we work with are freelancers, in some very rare cases, they may decide not to go ahead with the tour if the group is too small. This situation was very unfortunate and I understand that this must have been incredibly upsetting for you and your group, and may well have caused further disruption to your itinerary. We arrived for our tour to find a Spanish tour guide who said the English tour was cancelled “sorry”. No email was received prior to this so we had no awareness than to waste 45 minutes going out of our way to get to their meeting spot. Would have appreciated an email a day before!!…
