Hello, it is very unlikely that one would feel seasick on our boats. The movement is more like in a car and we don’t roll much left and right when underway. Getting on the boat you have to step about 1.5ft from the dock onto the boat and about 1ft down on a step. There is a handhold on the boat and our captains assist every person individually with boarding. We often welcome seniors and families with small children aboard.

Hello, we recommend children to be around 5 years or older so that their legs reach the floor when they sit in their seats. Our tours are not suitable for small children. Feel free to give us a call or email directly.

Hi Victoria, thank you for your question. It usually is quite cold in January and February in New York. Sometimes we do get some mild days, in which case we will add tours to the online booking system. We keep boats in the water year round and are always ready to go. In the colder months we provide anti-exposure suits, gloves and face-masks. You're welcome to email/call us with the dates you'll be in town and we'll put you on our stand-by list.

Hello, our 6pm departure returns to the dock at 7:30pm. That might be cutting it too close with an 8pm Broadway performance. You might just make it but I would suggest jumping on the 4pm tour which gets you back on the dock at 5:30. You have then time to grab a bite to eat and head to midtown for the show. We also have a 5pm Private Charter option, which returns at 6:30pm and should also allow you good time. We hope to welcome you aboard!

Hi Jill, thank you for your interest in our Adventure Sightseeing Tours. Personally I like the 10am and the last tour of the day best, as the water tends to be calmest. Hello and thank you for contacting us. For children under 5 years of age we recommend booking a private charter. That way we can use one of the boats that has a bench and tailor speed and time to their comfort level. The seating on the boats we use for the Adventure Sightseeing Tours may not be suitable for small children.
