Pretty sure we have been here before. We swung by last night after dinner and picked up dessert to eat back at the house. Making a decision was difficult. So, we bought a bunch of stuff - two boxes of mixed cookies, several different flavors of eclairs and slices of cake, and cannolis, gotta have cannolis. It. Was. All. So. Good!!!

Trip to New York Botanical Gardens , We had lunch at Ann & Tony's, we walked to to Egidio's for Cannolis for a friend of ours who recommended Egidios. We were greeted by a couple young ladies and placed our order in the boxes and tied them with string. Memories.
We purchased a coupe treat for us share at home. A great time in Little Italy.

Great selection of baked goodies in the heart of Little Italy!
Too many great choices, and we can always sit down and have a sweet with an expresso!!

We don't visit often due to distance, but every time we do, we have to stop for canolis - they are the best we've had (including some places in Italy). Whether plain or chocolate, they are big and well stuffed and fresh. We also had their ecclairs and "lobsters" which are puff pastries filled with mascarpone - yummmm!!!! Coffee is good and one can sit and enjoy one of so many great desserts after a long day of shopping around or visiting the nearby Bronx Zoo.

Stopped in today after some baseball at Fordham. Place does have a cool vibe to it but that is it. I liked what I got but my wife and son said their cannoli was okay. For this price they should be outstanding.

We stopped in to Egidio Pastry Shop and were pleased with the large selection we viewed in the case. We decided to purchase quite a few items.
The canolis and lobster claws had a filling that we have not ever had in either and we did not like it.
The filling was not a traditional canoli filling more of a cream puff type filling. The multiple pounds of cookies we purchased were also quite a let down.
While the cookie itself was fresh the amount of jelly filling in all of them was slim to none. There is no reason for that, this type of filling is so inexpensive and at the price per pound of these cookies thats totally unacceptable.
Somehow this place is frequented and has managed to stay in business since 1912 as their advertising states. Apparently there must be many who love the way they make things but it's definitely not for me and not what I was raised with.

We went here to have dessert. They have many kinds of desserts-italian ices, gelato, pastries, cakes, cannoli's and cookies. They also make coffee drinks and hot chocolate. We each had a drink- I had a decaf latte and my husband had a hot chocolate. In addition we shared a small chocolate dipped cannoli. Everything was good but the drinks were a bit pricey($4.50 for the hot chocolate). In addition we had good service.

I’d like to learn to make Cannoli, do you conduct any workshops? I am visiting New York this May and would love to book a class if possible
