Jared was a totally brilliant tour guide. He communicated with us in advance of our trip and was helpful with any questions we asked prior to our visit. He met with us at our hotel and discussed a plan for our 6 hour walking tour so he could ensure that our most important attractions/places were covered in the tour. Jared certainly knows his history and could answer all of our questions. Having a 1-2-1 personal tour was great and Jared was really able to focus on our interests. Jared is a very engaging person and being a New Yorker really brings attractions and events to life. We can totally reccmmend Jared as a tour guide.

While Jared self-describes himself as The NYC Tour Guide, we found on meeting him that he instantly became our friend in NYC. His passion for the city and especially John Lennon's time there was simply impossible for him to hide, and who hides such things from friends anyway. During our morning walk we were able to cross paths with some of the folks that shared time and space with John Lennon and despite Jared's caution that sometimes they do not welcome "tourists", I think even he was a bit surprised at how we where welcomed that day. If anything Jared is highly respectful of these special people and takes pains to not to force them into being a tour stop. Respect . . . I like that in a friend. That beautiful November day, our combined interest and passion of John Lennon, lead to NYC places unknown to us. Retrieved forgotten memories of the times and events that Chris and myself, shared with John and Yoko during our lives. Jared is just being coy when calls himself the NYC Tour Guide. I will not forget the wonderful morning and without hesitation introduce you to my "Friend in NYC", Jared.

Jared the NYC Tour Guide's extensive knowledge of New York people, places, history and architecture; his personal anecdotes; and his love for his City are exceeded only by his passion when telling the 9/11 events as you stand with him where Ground Zero was in Manhattan. He has been my group tours' NYC guide since 2016.

Walking the streets of Williamsburg on a cold November night, admiring the street art and different residential building designs, and being transfixed by the city lights, accompanied by Jared the NYC tour guide. What could be better? The social commentary, the local insight, the inside stories.... Call Jared. It’s more than a walking tour, it’s an immersive experience.

Wow! Thank you! I wasn't sure about a tour on a cold night, but we had fun, and I got us into warm locations a few times. Williamsburg, Brooklyn is the hippest and trendiest place in New York City now. It has great night life. Also, I shared a new waterfront park in a clean, post-post-industrial setting. It was really great at night with marvelous views and photo opportunities. Williamsburg has a compelling history going back thousands of years, and I was glad to share those changes with you. It is quite dramatic. On its own, Williamsburg was once one of America's largest cities. We spent two hours there, but it could have been four! Thank you for touring with me, and for sharing with the TripAdvisor community. Please visit again!
