Worth every penny!

Our tour guide Ray, was very informative and knowledgeable. Ray took us to all the areas of WTC and gave in-depth information about each area he took us.
We had purchased the “all access” ticket which gave us access to the museum and one world trade centre as well as the tour with Ray prior.
I would definitely recommend this tour and it was a highlight of my first trip to New York.

Truly amazing and informative walking tour!

The tour guide Jim Quinn was absolutely amazing, he made the tour very informative, attention grabbing and he included his own experiences of September 11th to describe that morning. To get a personalised perspective as well as an overall perspective made this truly different from other tours. Jim explained the history behind the key buildings and how they featured in 9/11 as well as the present day and it all flowed really well. So far, this has topped my experience of New York and I would highly recommend following this tour paying the $33 to enter the 9/11 memorial museum, as Jim’s tour blends into what you will see and hear inside. Truly breathtaking and I am glad I had Jim for the tour! 10/10

Great guides at Ground Zero

Jim was a great guide. I didn't know what to expect as I haven't been on many guided tours. Jim brought to life the stories of those who no longer have a voice. The tragedy, the triumph, the sacrifices made were all very tangible in his stories and recounts of that day. I am thankful for Jim's passion and goal to ensure the area is treated as a sacred place since many people's remains are still there today. Thank You for sharing your personal insight as well as the stories of others and keeping the memory alive. We must never forget!

A must-do if you are in NYC

This tour is an absolute must for anyone. Anyone who remembers the day the towers went down, anyone who lives or works in a city, anyone who wasn’t born at the time it happened, and anyone else. It changed the world and Jaclyn, our tour guide really helped to explain what happened and what it was like in those days, months and years after. The stories are personal and quite painful, but they are balanced with hope and resilience. Jaclyn was a wonderful guide and this tour is something I will always remember.

Dave was great, answered a lot of questions and madensure thatnyou had opportunities to see and understand what happened.

He provided personal experiences and did as much as he could to keep us inside and warm on the cold February day.

After the tour, when we were on our way- he stopped and made sure that we knew where we were going and gave us some great tips.

Unforgettable

Even though I watched the tragedy of 9/11 unfold in real time, the knowledge of our guide Richard made this tour even more meaningful. He added not only a personal touch but history of buildings and events that I and my husband were completely unaware of. I highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky, you’ll have Richard as your guide.

This is a must do in NYC. There is no way there is a better tour guide than a Brian C. Request him. Change your other plans so that you can be on one of his tours. He was able to bring such an honest, personal, and still humorous and light perspective to this important and worthwhile experience. He said it so well, though I paraphrase: The way to Never Forget is to go, to visit, to see it and touch it and feel it. Thank you, Brian, for sharing a part of your life and your family with us.

Daniel M was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable providing so many details that made the tour one we will remember for a long time. Don’t miss going into the museum, even after 21 years it was hard to wrap you head around what you were standing inside of. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour

An outstanding tour. Brian the tour guide was extremely thorough and very engaging . He managed to combine the solemnity required with positivity about the aftermath of the atrocity and the way the city came together to overcome the adversity . Would highly recommend this tour and in particular this tour guide . Awesome five stars

We are wanting to do the 10:30 guided tour and then the museum skip the line entrance. My question is, is it possible to grab a quick bite to eat somewhere nearby AFTER the tour but BEFORE museum entrance? Or, do we have to go DIRECTLY into the museum after the tour and that's our only option? We are just trying to do some meal planning around/before/after the tour and museum and are hoping this is possible. Thanks for your help.

Hi, After the tour out guide had our group line up for about 5-10 minutes and then we entered the museum. Don’t think you will be able to get something to eat unless you break away from your group and then you might not get in.

We purchased on line through trip advisor. We took the subway to the memorial and met tour guide at St James church. She will tour area and memorial then take you to head of line for museum if you purchased that package. On your own at museum. Your confirmation will be on iPhone.

I think it depends on the maturity of your 10 year old. This experience is very emotional, unless you are a socio/psychopath. I'm afraid you must make your own judgment.

So many options it’s confusing. Is a tour worthwhile for the museum or is the downloadable audio guide sufficient? Is the memorial/ground zero tour worthwhile? is One World Observatory worth it? Thx for your help

Yes you need tickets. The tour and museum are separate. Some people just wanted the tour. We did both for additional cost. It $69 total for both of them. Museum was well worth seeing.
