Ask to give you cheaper rates than advertised. We had 6 people, just thought hey why not ask if they would knock a few bucks off and they were like sure!
Realize though if you get a 2 hour rental, it’ll be difficult to stop and check out different things. Bikes were in decent shape. Good times.

A brilliant, fun, informative, laughing, healthy way to see the real NYC Central Park. Our tour guide Tony was bursting with so much information and knowledge. A local New Yorker approached us, who was listening to his guide and having seen us being brought to the "real" areas only known by locals. He informed us that he hadn't seen a tour guide inform and show people the real locality and that it was refreshing as a New Yorker to see such excellent guiding. If your capable of even cycling a bike slowly, then you'll easily be able for this tour.

My son and I did a two hour tour of Central Park by bike. Sergio was an amazing guide. We stopped at all the famous landmarks and learned so much about the park and the city. I highly recommend this tour to see Central Park and to learn more about the history of the city.

While our tour happened and let us see Central Park for it’s true beauty, it left a lot to be desired. Our tour was over crowded and our guide was unorganised and late.
I booked this guided tour following a fair bit of research online and reading many trip advisor reviews. We booked a 10am tour for our Friday morning and on the day, headed to the allocates meeting point in plenty of time.
10 minutes before the start time, I received a WhatsApp voice note from Sergio (our guide) saying that there had been a change of plan and we needed to meet at the actual bike stop instead. So off we went, met our guide (who was less than welcoming), collected our bikes and waited with no real updates on what was happening.
Sergio disappeared saying he would be back soon, with more and more people arriving at the bike shop and all of us were waiting outside, taking up most of the pavement. Sergio re-appeared and we realised that we were going to be in a group of 24 people. This meant that all of us were trying to follow 1 guy on busy roads/crosswalks and then onto the roads of Central Park and often meant that the group was split up.
We stopped at 6 locations in the park and had a very brief explanation of what each stop was, told what time we had to look around that spot, and then that was it - definitely not the informative tour I had been sold and read about. If you were near the front of the group while cycling, Sergio would be telling different bits of information but there was absolutely no way that the whole group could have heard this.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this particular tour/guide/company.

Easy booking process, excellent customer service, spectacular tour and tour guide. Tony did a wonderful job making our family bike tour an enjoyable experience. He was filled with engaging tid bits about the park and also gave us time to take great photos. Would definitely recommend and book in the future.

Fantastic way to introduce our teenage kids to Central Park. We visited all the main sites with Tony, who was awesome and gave us so much interesting information about the park throughout the two hours. Easy to book, great communication and very friendly. Also lived the bikes. Would totally recommend.

Tony is the man. Our guide Tony greeted us promptly and got us outfitted with our bikes. The bikes were in good working condition and we felt safe at all times. Tony was a wealth of information about the park and the surrounding area. He was professional & very friendly. He answered all our questions. We made stops along the tour where everyone could walk around and take photos. I would highly recommend this 2 hour guided tour of Central Park,a true New York experience.

The experience exceeded our expectations. The electric bike was easy to use and comfortable. Our guide, Tony, was knowledgeable and friendly. His personality made the ride very entertaining, informative, and enjoyable. Our group of two couples were fully satisfied and glad we opted for the VIP guided tour.

This tour was so much fun! My adult daughter and I decided to pay a little more for the private tour, and we are so glad we did! It was just the two of us and our tour guide, Tony. Tony was very patient with us, and let us go at the speed we were comfortable with. He was extremely knowledgeable of the park and its history. He gave lots of info as we rode and included three or four stops where we got to get off the bikes and explore for 10 minutes or so on our own while he waited with the bikes. The park was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect! I would highly recommend!!

My group of 6 (including 2 12 year olds) had a really great time with Tony. I couldn’t believe how much he knew about every part of the park. It was a great way to see the park and understand the history and significance of each area. Highly recommend this tour.

Hi, kemdoll. What would you like to know about this attraction? I will be coming there for the first time in august...someone told me about those bike things there you sit in the back and they will take you around central park. can you please give me more info on these....I want to do them. appreciate any help..

Hi,
The bikes you are talking about are called rickshaws or pedicabs. These are pedal-operated carriages that may take up to three people. Your guide will be pedaling you around the park and will be telling you about the highlights and the history of Central park. There are several designated stops where you can hop off, look around and take pictures. The pedicab talking head tours are quite flexible in time, distance and locations you can visit.

At this point we do not offer bookings though our Tripadvisor profile but you can do this through the website. Pick the time and date on the calendar and you will get a confirmation email with the details of your booking.

Sorry, I am not clear about the $35 per person (online price) for the Central Park Bike Tour. Your answer of bike rental of $25/person for up to 3 hours - is this on top of the $35 per person for the Central Park Bike Tour?

The $35/person includes a tour guide.
If you've never been to Central park before we usually recommend to go with a tour guide.
