Managed to get a seat in the cupcake booth upstairs. To the delight of my daughter. My partner ordered the biggest sundae on the menu called 'I bet you can't sundae'..... And he sure couldn't. It was huge... But the different flavours were amazing. Once we finished we had to buy some candy. The candy in total was overpriced but... More

This is an amazing shop - think of the biggest 'pick'n'mix' you've been to - and treble it! Add to this, merchandise (e.g. lollipop shaped cushions, sweet jars) and dog treats including 'doggy donuts', personalisation and a rainbow of sweets, as well as ice-creams and milkshakes, over 3 floors, and you're probably getting the idea. Not cheap once you add... More

What an amazing shop, they sell every type of sweet you can imagine, and some you probably cant. Even if you do not have a sweet tooth, this is a must visit and it is so wacky and crazy. Willy Wonker eat your heart out!!!

Candy is high in price. But, you are in NYC! The experience is wonderful and you must visit even if you are just looking around. Although, who would walk out without buying something sweet!!! A nice visit with children while in NYC.

Exactly what I was expecting! My hotel was located in outside of time square and the walk wasn't terrible. Close to Central Park. Great for kids or adults. Be prepared to buy stuff then have to lug it around with you if you have a lot to do

I visited Dylan's Candy Bar one evening as I had a craving for ice cream and their location was convenient. The store is a spectacle of all things sweet and sugary, and yes the ice cream was excellent. There's an incredible variety of treats, so it's hard to imagine someone not finding what they're craving. The prices are a little... More

We were unsure of expectations when first visiting Dylan's, especially after reading and hearing so many rave reviews. This confectionery lives up to the well deserved hype!!! Much like a maze of sorts, when think you've pretty much seen all the excitements it has to offer, even more sweet secrets are revealed!!

I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in town. The gummy worms are the best! Only thing I was disappointed in was they didn't have chocolate covered chips. The one in Chicago has chocolate covered chips.

Great Instagram photo ops abound here, with colorful candy images covering stairs and walls. Every kind of candy you can imagine is available on multiple floors. It can get insanely crowded and is pricey, as you'd expect such a place to be. But it's definitely worth a visit for kids, who will go bananas in here. Take the N train... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
