Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

The cruise around Manhattan was the best investment on a very hot summer day. The vast amount of information that was provided during the cruise was excellent as were the views from the water. Yes the boat was crowded but hey, its prime tourist season. The cost is very reasonable for what you receive in return. Would definitely recommend.

It is a wonderful way to spend the first day in NY....because one gets amazing views and orientation at the same time. We did the 2.5 hr trip end of August....booking ahead was not necessary but if you have to buy the ticket there then make sure to be there at least an hour before departure of the boat. We... More

We have taken this cruise - the 2.5 hour trip around the island on five different occasions. Each one was well narrated and outstanding time for sightseeing and spending time with friends. We upgraded to the VIP section - better seats, priority boarding and an attendant for food and beverage. The VIP section was well worth the increase - as... More

We took the Harbour Lights Cruise from Circle Line Cruises on the 23rd August for $38 (£29) each. The cruise lasted 2 hours. The route for this cruise took us past some of the main attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, Chrysler building, Brooklyn Bridge and the new World Trade Center building. It also allowed you... More

Seeing all of Manhattan from the Hudson River and East River was really a great experience, as it gave us a new view - and some new stories about NY.

Lots of fun, but don't buy beer on tap. It is not fresh. Stick with can beer. Beverages are expensive too.

I got on the harbor light cruise must do attraction in NYC in my opinion. Beautiful city lights, skyscrapers and Andy was a great guide you are lucky to have him.

The 4 of us all in our 50's took the Sunset Cruise which we paid for with our New York Explorer pass...When we got on the boat it was packed and the majority of people that were sitting were seated on cheap folding chairs. We purchased some drinks and then noticed a area on the left side of the boat... More

Not too crowded - so much better than walking around Ellis Island with bored teens. A/c helpful crew and just what we needed on an 80 degree plus day in Manhattan. The kids understood everything and didn't roll their eyes so we will take it as a huge positive!

Thank Mommcc

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
