Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

We enjoyed this cruise as part of our Explorer Pass ($5 up charge) and it was great. We arrived a little over an hour early and I'm glad because we were at the front of the line and got 1st pick of seats which were on the top deck left side and they were perfect! At 1st I was disappointed... More

We took the tour of NY on Thursday and really enjoyed it. It is obviously going to be better on a warm day but whilst I think it's nicer to be outside if it is cold there is the opportunity to go inside. Very knowledgeable tour guide and great to see the contrast in the NY boroughs.

Sunny day in February. We spent the extra couple bucks for the Premier and it was definitely worth it. The upstairs open deck fills up really quickly and the Premier Pass affords you a reserved seat at the back of the deck where you can relax and have a beverage or a snack from the private waitress. The tour guide... More

SCAM ALERT! Beware the upsell. We bought tickets and boarded the boat early. It was a nice day so we wanted to sit outside. There were plenty of seats. We chose seats on the starboard side near the rear as these seats were nicer. There was no signage or employees around to explain where to sit. As we sat waiting... More

We took this cruise as part of the New York Pass we had purchased. We arrived 45 minutes before the departure time for our 2.5 hour cruise around NYC. When we arrived they were starting to board and the line was huge. We had to go to the ticket booth to get a ticket after showing our pass cards. Whilst... More

We took the nieces on this tour to be able to see the island from the water and to see The Statue of Liberty and the other islands, bridges and sites. We like this a lot.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
