Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

Had a late morning trip down the Hudson and around the other side under the bridges and return. Took some 90 minutes. Good views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Also passed Wall Street and the 9/11 site. Entertaining and knowledgeable commentary. Snacks and drinks available on board. Bought our tickets from the concierge.... More

Did the "Best of NYC" tour which travels the entire way around the island of Manhattan. Starts from Pier 83 on the west side and travels south down the Hudson, north up the East River, then along the Harlem River and back down the Hudson. Was a great way to see all of the island and bits of Brooklyn, Queens... More

Andy, the tour guide, gave a interesting and informative explanation of the important features along the Hudson River from their berth, past Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. I learned so much about the history of New York City. The ferry traveled in such a way that it was easy to get pictures. I was sitting at the side... More

It was very easy to book the trip, even did it from the theater. Only thing was getting tickets printed. Boarding was easy and efficient. Hostess in Premier Seating was delightful and kept us supplied with our beverages. The MC, Chris kept us enlightened with all the information regarding the sites and stories of the famous people who once lived... More

This is nothing short of a cattle train. The boat is over booked with minimum seating on the deck. When sitting inside, you might as well be in a taxi driving around the island. Approx 100 so called premier seats inside if you want to upgrade, a joke. There has to be a better tour company / boat to view... More

We recently visited New York for the first time and after quite a bit of research decided one of the best ways to see the sights would be on a cruise. We choose to do the Best of New York Cruise which took about 2.5 hours. We booked an Open ticket a few weeks before our holiday which allowed us... More

We did the Harbor Lights Cruise to celebrate our sons' 13th and 16th birthday. Due to a miscalculation on walking time, we arrived just minutes before sail time and to sit indoors on a beautiful clear night. There is plenty of room on the open air bow to stand once the boat gets moving but after walking all day we... More

We took the full Island tour (2.5hrs) and would recommend it to anyone who wants to see the views of Manhattan you see in the films! On a clear day the views are spectacular and you get up close to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the various bridges - great photo opportunities. However, having chosen to upgrade to... We did this for free with our New York pass. Highly recommend it. It left at 7.00pm smartphone and takes you for a 2 hour cruise down the Hudson River taking you nice and close to the city's icon of the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately I lost a bracelet on this boat trip so i rang up the next day... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
