Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

The cruise for our 90 minutes trip around the East and Hudson rivers was perfectly clean and comfortable. Amazing views of the rivers, the cities, bridges, Statue of Liberty, etc, incredible comments and guide about every single thing you could imagine of NYC (buildings, historic landmarks, Hollywood stars, important dates, and so on). Every interesting fact about the things we... More

We took the Liberty Cruise, it took about 1hr and we were more than close enough to the statue. We had Chris as our guide and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable and a great sense of humour. Great views from the top deck, if it's busy grab a seat next to the edge, you go there and back so have... More

I can't say enough good about the crew and staff. Everyone from Jose who was so kind and helpful, to Rolando who took excellent care of our concession needs to our very informative and entertaining guide Dave they were all amazing. This was such a great addition to our anniversary trip. This is a must do for anyone visiting NY.

We did the full cruise of Manhattan island and it is excellent value for money for the 2.5 hour trip. David the tour guide was absolutely superb and new all his stuff, very informative and added comedy so easy to listen to 👍🏼. We had family visiting from Italy and wanted them to really see NYC,this was perfect! It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed ourselves. Cold beer on trip was a nice addition to a relaxing time while soaking in the sun and views.

We did the 'best of NYC' tour which took 2.5 hours. While this is the longest tour, I highly recommend this one as you can really see the highlights of Manhattan, including its neighbour suburbs like Queens and The Bronx. You can see the Statue of Liberty up close as the cruise goes right past it. Although it was raining... More

The full cruise of Manhattan island is well worth the money. Fantastic views especially of the Statue of Liberty up close. The tour guide really knew his stuff and his commentary was quite humorous too. Worth noting that there is a disclaimer saying may not be able to go around the whole island due to high tides as some bridges... More

We've used Circle Line 3 times now and love it. Our latest visit was on the afternoon of New Years Eve and as usual it was a great trip. It's a great way to see numerous attractions such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the city skyline and the Statue of Liberty with great commentary. The prices are good and you have... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
