We didn't go to a sports event or a concert, but we did have to go for a quick tour of Madison Square Garden anyway, since we were so close by. The foodcourt was nice, and so was the NYR shop inside.

Watched Adele in MSG. Debating which seats to pick and apprehensive about the Chase Bridge because it's higher level. It's actually above level 200 and I think it obstructs some view if you're seated on the upper rows in level 200. We felt some privacy, seats are comfortable and you have a personal glass monitor which you can watch a... More

Well MSG - you got us through the doors, through the merchandise stalls, up the stairs and into our seats in record time. You served us at the bar quickly and efficiently. Even if someone next to us was making a scene because they really didn't want to hand over their credit card and I'd. The concert atmosphere, lighting and... More

I've always found that MSG is a unique place for sports. It is the only place I can think of where you can go see a hockey game (or other sport) directly in the city. There is no parking for it except with the other people competing for spots. Inside it is really cool and the hockey game we went... More

Was surprised Madison Square Gardens was within site of the hotel New Yorker on 34th and 8th. Recognized this attraction while watching VMA's a week after my visit.

We had the great pleasure of attending the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in February of 2013. It was a dream of my life to see the Garden and being there for the greatest dog show in the world was the icing on the cake! Surely, it would be awesome to see a hockey game there,... More

Plenty of places to grab a bite or a beer. Food choices are diverse for a large show venue. We did not get expensive tickets and our view of the stage was very good.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
