Overall this venue is well operated and policed by NYPD & private security. You do have the subway beneath this venue and you will see some homeless and ticket scalper a and Bootleg T shirts from concert. The legitimate shirts inside MSG Lobby approx $55. After the show outside you may see the bootleggers selling T shirts for $20. If... More

So I admit that depending on how the game you're watching goes, it will largely effect your experience of this venue. With that said we had a great time, the seats were remarkably good even though we were quite far back and the atmosphere at the end of the game was amazing.

3rd time I've done the tour and still interesting. Great knowledgeable staff who seem genuinely happy to tell you the facts.

Experiencing Billy Joel at this place is probably a NY must and institution like the Statue of Liberty or the Rockefeller center. It's an unforgettable memory and requires a bit of advance planning unless you are able or willing to spend 500$ on a ticket. If you don't like large crowds, this is still doable, the place is well organized... More

We have been back to the Garden a few times since its make over for concerts - Billy Joel and Chris Tomlin. I find that the food has gotten better (and even more expensive) but the lines are just as long and it feels very crowded. I know it is an older facility but wish they could make it more... More

Although we didn't have the best seats, we really enjoyed the concert. Wish they had bigger and better situated jumbo screens. But all in all a great time and the audience was so responsive through out

Went for the Westminster dog show. I am only average height, but my legs are quite long. After less than an hour, I was quite uncomfortable because the seats are packed closely and my knees hit the seat in front of me. Navigating the venue is quite easy, though.

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
