I scheduled the Royal Proposal Package from Central Park Horses. The package included about an hour carriage ride around Central Park, a bouquet of roses, chocolate covered strawberries, a romantic stop at the Bow Bridge where I was able to propose, and a professional photographer who took great photos to capture the special moment.

The proposal went perfectly and our carriage driver and photographer both did a great job at being inconspicuous to not spoil the moment. I would recommend Central Park Horses to anyone who wants to have a great experience and guided tour around Central Park.

Great experience. Our drivers were very informative and accommodating. We had reservations for 2:30pm but arrived at 1pm and they accommodated us. Our granddaughters were enthralled loving every minute of the ride. Great way to experience NYC during the holidays.

We arrived early and was able to start the ride early. Our driver offered to stop several times to take pictures of us. He was very informative, pointing out lots of points of interest. Our horse, Jack and our driver were great!

A perfect way to spend New Year’s Day after the excesses of the previous evening. Easy to book and find. Lovely well cared for horse and a lovely chap who showed us around. Nothing was to much trouble. Photo stops and lots of information without being over intrusive. Couldn’t fault and would highly recommend.

From start to finish the experience was amazing! We did the exclusive tour which is one hour and 3 photo stops. Our driver was absolutely amazing!!! We got out at each stop and took pictures and the driver took pictures of us in the carriage and at different places. We were given a blanket to cover with as it was cold out. About the only thing “missing” would be for them to offer hot chocolate or hot coffee lol. It was worth the price and so much more! Highly recommend!!!

The carriage driver was informative and very good with our 3 and 7 year olds. He let them pet and feed the horse. Very nice and enjoyable.

Booked this one hour horse & carriage trip before leaving for New York & arranged it for our final afternoon in the city.
Central Park is huge & a real quiet haven - a complete contrast to the sights & sounds of New York. Our guide was really nice, pointing out significant areas of the park including where certain movie shots were made. We stopped in front of the lake where he took our photo.
Its a slow ride around the park then out onto the road passing the Dakota building where John Lennon was shot & where Yoko Ono still lives.
A very romantic hour spent & would recommend

We paid $165 in advance online for a 45 minute ride. The ride was 30 minutes. The horse was super slow. The pedestrians on the street were walking faster thannour horse. The horse and kept veering off the road to eat anything green. The driver had no control over the horse. The driver got off to take a photo and the horse started to walk away with us on the carriage. We tipped the driver $40 as customary. For $200 this was a severe disappointment in comparison to other carriage rides. A tourist trap.
