So I went here on a moderate day; not so hot and not so cold and it was an enjoyable activity. The main attraction for me were the snow leopards and the penguins. These were beautiful exhibits! The 4D theater was an Ice Age: No Time For Nuts movie clip, it was nice! Just wish the Gift shop and the... More

Another one of Central Park many activities. The zoo is very small and you can get through it in a couple of hours. Yet, for such a small place, they have managed to fill it with wondrous animals and attractions. Bears, birds, snakes and the petting zoo, and the star is the white leopard. And of course, all the landmarks... More

If just like me you're a frequent zoo visitors, you won't be surprized by the Central Park Zoo. I mean, there's no lions and Elephants or Gorillas. You'll find on-site animals like Bears, Snow Leopard, Monkeys and a few indoor exhibitions. The main feature is that it's a zoo in Central Park!! Which is absolutely awesome. Frankly I think everyone... More

Went in autumn time and it was lovely walking around seeing the zoo. Quite a small zoo but still nice to wonder...personally i think it should have been a cheaper entry.

For our family, $75 was quite a load for such a small zoo. If we lived in NYC, we'd probably not return. That said, as a tourist family enjoying Central Park, it worked out well for us. The snow leopards were out and it's a nice exhibit. Our favorite, however, was the tropical house where the birds flew freely. On... More

We planned to go this Zoo on our visit to Central Park, and we were not disappointed. Nice and clean and although a small Zoo, it is very reasonably priced and not over taxing on walking round. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Worth the visit. .

There are only a handful of animals at this zoo but you do get and up close and more personal view of these animals. Really enjoyed the penguins and sea lions.

The Central Park Zoo is a definite stop if you have children visiting New York City. The zoo is small enough that you can see the whole thing without feeling that you've walked hundreds of miles and missed half of the exhibits the way you can feel when visiting larger zoos. Our group included young children and teenagers and everyone... More

It is not a huge zoo but very well designed. Animals look like happy and free. In some areas especially in birds area you can look really close them while they are flying around. I visited with my 2 years old and she loved being there. There is a 4D theater shows Ice Aged short movie. It was also great.
